Posted .Hi JohnV! We apologize our ClearStream 4MAX Antenna is not working out for you. Please try scanning for channels without the included amplifier. In most cases an amplifier isn’t necessary unless TV signals in your area are low power, or you have longer cable runs to multiple TVs. Also, try installing the antenna as high up as possible on a wall or in the window. We do have a free app called Antenna Point you can download to your iOS or Android phone. Once you download, the app will identify your location. You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals. If these tips do not help, please give us a call at 877-825-5572 so we can troubleshoot and try to pinpoint what the problem could be. We are available 7 days a week to help. Thank you!

The amp is only a 5v USB or AC transformer. My thin, $50 flexible antenna got more. I used the APP to properly position this in my attic and no improvement.

Posted .Hi there, picking up all the channels can be a little trick sometimes. Please use our free Antenna Point app to aim the antenna towards the largest cluster of towers in your area. You will need to rescan the TV for channels when you reposition the antenna towards the towers. If repositioning doesn’t resolve the issue, we are available 7 days a week to help you receive the most TV channels. Depending on where you live, there may be obstacles causing interference with the signals further away from your location. Please give us a call and we will perform a free signal analysis in your area and then we can advise you where to install the antenna to receive the best TV signals. This antenna dies the job without the power booster since I am like only a few feet from the channel 4 tower the amplifier won’t allow that channel to come in so delighted able to get all local channels without disruption in signal was tired of fighting with the indoor antenna had to constantly mess with it to get channels happy customer

The curvature of the Earth will block most over-the-air broadcast signals at roughly 70 miles. According to the current laws of physics, it is generally impossible to deliver a range greater than that with a TV antenna. While you may receive signals from farther away in absolutely ideal conditions (a home atop a hill whose broadcast towers are directly on top of another hill with a clear shot between the two and absolutely no obstacles) or you’re inclined to engineer a unique (and probably dangerously tall) setup, then consistent, reliable reception of anything over 70 miles away should not be expected. Please give us a call at 877-825-5572, we can help pinpoint the issue and advise you on what your next steps should be to improve your reception and help get those missing channels. The instructions were clear and made setup extremely easy. I live in a remote location and still am able to receive 36 channels including two that are blocked by our streaming service. Exactly why I purchased this product. I even get Boston channels which is 70 miles away. Very much worth it. Great product.

Antenna signals can be tricky due to fluctuations in signal strength coming from the TV transmitting towers and atmospheric conditions. Try moving the antenna to another location, up higher is always best, and rescan your TV for channels. We recommend you try moving your antenna to several locations and rescan your TV every time you move the antenna until you find the best signals. You may also want to try running a channel scan without the included amplifier. Over-amplification can occur if you are trying to use an amp too close to the broadcast towers. Easy to assemble,easy to put into place.ive picked up 40 channels, including locals.cable is getting so expensive, i needed to find an alternative. Price was comparable to one mos. cable bill, and yet this is free after the initial buy. You still need internet to run this. But not all the pkgs ,they offer.Very clear picture.definitely would recommend.

My weak Dish OTA tuner found 93 channels, including all the big locals I was looking for. Tried one of those flat amplified indoor antennas first and got pixelation and weak reception. The ClearStream 4MAX with amplifier works perfectly...strong signal and no pixelation.
