This device works as described. However location and terrain surrounding you and the tower location can hinder signal strenght. Another issue you may find is if you split this antenna signal onto multiple tvs this will also degrade the signal strength. i am only 25 miles away from the local towers located in washington d.c., installed this antenna on the roof of my townhouse and off the bat it worked, but did NOT get all of my local channels. Called up Antennas Direct 800 number..SUPER SUPER helpful and great customer service. My setup is split to 4 tvs throughout the house. They recommended a 4 way power amplified/splitter. I bought it and when it arrived and installed it....IT WORKED 100% like a charm, now i've got ALL my local channels and more....I am very happy with the end result.

Purchased this antenna to save on Century Link's expensive cable service. Assembly was straight forward and simple. Have it hanging high on a wall on the inside of the house: I can pick up 19 local channels, all HD. It is hooked to a HD LG TV. The signal fluctuates when someone walks by, but is clear when there is no nearby movement. If/when I mount if outside, I'm expecting better results. I paid full price at BB; there are cheaper options online.

I really can't compare antennas because this one was the first I ever bought. It was very easy to assemble. I installed it in the attic and started scanning for channels. I do not understand it? Yes I am pulling channels from Lynchburg( an hour away) but also from Roanoke( two hours away and on the other side of the Blue Ridge mountains). I am getting 27 channels total with only one duplicate ( wwcw). Bought this antenna because dish tv goes out whenever we have tornado warnings.

After hurricane Zeta blew through New Orleans many lost power and cable/internet. We actually got our power back up after a few days but it was several days after when we got our cable internet back up. I bought a Mohu sail after the storm and it was decent but not as good as the Clearstream 4 max.I returned the Mohu in favor of the Clearstream which I installed in my attic and it has been working great since providing TV signal to TVs which I dont have cable on.

I first tried the TERK 65 mile indoor. I could not pick up even all of the major channels (They are around 60 miles away.) I took it back and got the ClearStream, mounted it on a cinder block on my flat roof. It was spectacular. Way more channels than I will ever watch. Then a big windstorm knocked my jury rig (cinder block) over. The unit was laying flat on my roof and pointing toward the sky. Hmm. I still got all of the channels I had selected. Amazing.

I wanted to upgrade b4 the Super Bowl and decided on this one. My previous antenna got about 25 channels. I bought this one because it was able to be used outside and inside and was affordable. I end up setting it up inside because that's where I got the best reception. I now average 50 channels with this antenna. It also looks nice on the wall, very techy.

After trying 2 cheaper flexible flat panel antennas that did not work well, I bought this and found it has much better performance. I have it mounted inside on top of a kitchen cabinet and I am getting good signal on most available local channels in my area. Bad weather can affect reception a little but for the most part I am happy with the reception.

Very happy with this product. Wanted to cut the cord but the wife wouldn’t go for it unless she could get the local stations and I didn’t want to pay for them on a service. Tried the Mohu antenna, couldn’t get a thing in my house. Bought this and I’m able to get between 25-30 stations depending on the TV. I’m able to pick up stations from 70+ miles away, in central NY we have a lot of hills. Haven’t had reception this good since before the digital change over.

Gained 25 channels over past antenna. As an RF Engineer, well worth your money. Keep in mind direction of the main lobe matters. Adjust orientation to pull in the most distant stations. Greatly diminished digital drop out for nearby stations.

Easy to assemble, able to get 4 additional stations of public television which is good considering this was used in a very rural community with the tower being over 70 miles away. We were hoping for major stations- that is why the 4 stars and not 5

Installed this antenna on a roof peak over a year ago and have really enjoyed the quality of the over air channels with this antenna. The range is excellent and we get channels that we couldn't receive with the indoor antennas. Recommend.

They always want you to rate something as soon as the box is opened. Well, now that I’ve used it for a few days I can at least say that it works well so far. What’s strange to me is that because I’m closer to Mt. Diablo I orientated the antenna in that direction. But, I actually receive the Sacramento stations quite well. I made a mast out of ridged conduits to get the antenna higher so, I can’t really comment on anything other than the antenna itself. The only hardware I used was the clamp for attaching the antenna to the mast. Everything else is still in the box. Anyway I get a variety of stations which was all that I wanted. The instructions provided very little help with respect to making the antenna work with the TV so, you’re on your own for that. I was ready to start asking people at Best, where I bought my TV, but then I figured it out. They could have been a little more informative here.

I love it!! I wish I had bought it long time ago and could I had saved a lot of money on paying a very expensive cable bill. It was very easy to set up, I live in an apartment building I simply put it on my window and I am getting the best reception ever! Crisp clear, the clearest sound and most importantly NO MORE BUFFERING!!

Not much to it. Easy to assemble. I mounted it to the side of the building so its turned 90 degrees compare o a roof mount. We get over 23 channels from 15 miles to the north and 4 channels 45 miles to the south. Would recommend.

We knew we were going to have a limited off-the-air stream. It appeared the ClearStream 4MAX was going to be our best option. It is! It was extremely easy to install; it had to be an outside install because we live in a brick house. We now receive the channels that we expected with a clarity we did not expect. We've recommended it to our neighbors and they have had the same positive expectations.

Got tired of constantly moving my indoor leaf antenna and got the ClearStream for my attic. All channels now come in clear with no pixelation. I'm about 40-50 miles away from Indy, so the terrain is flat, but lots of buildings in the way. Very pleased with this product.

Not all antennas are compatible with Sling AirTv. I purchased a GE yagi 70 mile plus which turned out not to be compatible with the AirTv. It would not complete the set up process. If i connected the GE antenna directly to the tv it worked excellent so not to take away from the GE antenna it was just not compatible with the AirTv so i switched to this antenna direct clearstream antenna and I was able to finsh the set up process on the AirTv 2. I contacted sling and it was confirmed that not all antennas are compatible so i requested that thy update their info on their product. The Clearstream gave me 171 channels in the 90031 area code in Los Angeles. I recommend this antenna.

This antenna works fine we decided not to use it and tried to take it back but it was past 15 days so store manager Adam in Salem told us if we buy the membership we could return it but we had to put a credit card that would auto renew for $50 every year we told him we did not want to have an auto renew account and he pushed our stuff across the counter and Rudley said I can't help you and walked away. This is the worst customer service I have ever had and I will never shop at Best buy again and tell everybody I know not to shop at Best buy sorry

Easy to assemble. Live outside of the advertised range but with a preamp can pick up most of the Chicago stations from 83 miles away. It is mounted outside about 20 feet up on a mast. Also is directional so download the antennas direct app to position it. Overall satisfied with it. The older model had a reflector on the back, I think this one would benefit from it also.
