Posted .Greetings! We apologize you are not having great success with our ClearStream 4MAX Antenna. We are here to help! We ALWAYS recommend you place the antenna as high up as possible; 70 miles is a long distance and just because some obstructions cannot be seen does not mean they are not present between your location and the towers. Also, be sure to re-scan for channels every time you move the antenna. Sometimes it may take a few tries to locate the "sweet spot". We do have a free app called Antenna Point you can download to your iOS or Android phone. Once you download, the app will identify your location. You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals. If you continue to have trouble after trying this, just give our support team a call at 877-825-5572 or chat with us at https://www.antennasdirect.com, and they will perform a free signal analysis to pinpoint what the problem may be. I called the company who suggested I purchase the amplifier which I did and had it installed which did not make any difference either.

I got this antenna wanting to get some over the air free tv signals.I live between New Orleans and Baton Rouge Louisiana. I’m 70 miles from NO and 50 miles from BR. This antenna says it has a 70 miles range. I first tried it in the attic pointed to Baton Rouge. I scanned for Chanel’s and got 12 channels. I angled the antenna about 30 degrees to the south and did a rescan. I got 62 channels this time. Yahoo!! I was hoping it would work in my attic and it did. Very happy. I have asphalt shingles so it doesn’t seem to interfere with the signal. It was also super easy to hook the antenna up to the cable tv co-axial cable that ran from my cable tv line. I highly recommend this antenna.

I am not located in a mountainous area, so not sure why. Was not real pleased with the quality of the make of the product. Seemed very cheap - antenna was plastic.

Maybe true but I asked if it was easy to set up. He said "yes" my 2 guy Neighbor's looked at the directions and said they couldn't help me with it

Posted .With the ClearStream 4MAX, there are antenna parts to assemble, and more parts for the mast. The ClearStream 2MAX antenna is fully assembled and comes with a base stand and a mast. If you are placing the antenna inside your home, this antenna is very easy to setup. This product does not come with coaxial cable. We have years of experience judging satellite overviews to estimate the signal blockage caused by obstructions such as trees, foliage, buildings etc... these obstructions will block signals and cause interference with other signals. Then we use information that you provide for your installation to finalize our recommendations on why you are not receiving more channels. You may simply need a booster to complete your setup. Mileage is wrong

Posted .Every location is different. The towers in your surrounding area will not be the same geographical location or the same distance from your home to the towers. We recommend placing the antenna as high up as possible. Placing an antenna in the right location is the key to getting better signals. Posted .We wish you would have called us for help! Sorry you had to return a product that is high-performance. There was some obstruction or too close to electronics in your home for the antenna to work properly.
I get PBS steady...and nothing else.

Got an ION amplifier which helped me get nothing. So stay clear from that too. 1 channel, then 7, then 1. Faith in this product is gone.
