This IPad I purchased because I have one now. This will be a gift but for every day use I find myself reaching for it forts rather than my laptop or iPhone 14 Plus. It doesn’t weigh much, the screen is big enough and the price can’t be beat. If you want a perfect iPad at a great price go for this with the 246GB. The 128GB is fine but they no longer sell it.

I've recently had the pleasure of purchasing the Apple 10.2 inch iPad (9th Generation) with WiFi and 256GB, and it's truly impressive! The screen is incredibly clear, making it perfect for watching my favorite shows and movies. Additionally, the A13 Bionic chip ensures everything runs smoothly, even when I'm juggling multiple tasks. The 256GB of storage is fantastic because I never have to worry about running out of space. Overall, it's a great choice for anyone looking for a dependable and powerful tablet. I highly recommend it!

    Another Fantastic Apple iPad

I bought the 9th Generation iPad to replace an iPad Air 2 that I had for over 5 years. I like the increased storage (256GB) of this iPad over my iPad Air 2 (128GB), the bigger screen, better display, the ability to use the 1st generation Apple Pencil, a longer lasting battery, and a faster processor. I have nothing but compliments for all of the iPads I have owned to date. I have NEVER had any reliability issues with my iPad units. I would strongly recommend buying a good case protector for an iPad. I have consistently used Otterbox Defender Cases even though some may consider the case a tad on the heavy side. I have dropped my iPad enough to swear by an Otterbox Defender Case.

iPad 9th Generation - good value for money

So far I'm very pleased with this iPad. I replaced a very old version with only 64GB of storage. It was processing noticeably slower than it used to and the battery life was not what it used to be. It did the job admirably for nine years, though. Rather than buy the newest version, I chose to go with the previous generation, as I mostly use my iPad for text based apps like Kindle or Reddit, and infrequently for video. This version was also on sale, so the value for money calculation made this a winner. This opens and closes apps and processes downloads much faster than the iPad it replaced. It's nice to have a tablet with a battery that holds the full charge. The screen is great, too. I hope this one lasts as long as the iPad it replaced!

The iPad 9th Gen is a great budget-friendly tablet with a 10.2-inch Retina display, A13 Bionic chip, and iPadOS for smooth performance. It supports the 1st-gen Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard, making it ideal for students and casual users. The 12MP front camera with Center Stage is a nice upgrade, though the design feels dated with thick bezels. Battery life is solid (10 hours), and overall, it’s the best affordable iPad for everyday use.

The iPad 9th generation is a reliable and versatile tablet that offers great value for the price. The screen is bright and clear, making it perfect for watching videos, browsing the web, or reading. It runs smoothly thanks to the A13 chip, which handles everyday tasks and light multitasking with ease. The front camera has been upgraded, which is awesome for video calls and using the new Center Stage feature that keeps you in focus even if you move around. The battery life is solid too; it lasts me all day with normal use. If you're thinking of using it for school or work, it supports the Apple Pencil (1st gen) and Smart Keyboard, which is a huge plus. Its also pretty lightweight. Overall, the iPad 9th gen is a great choice if you want a dependable and budget-friendly tablet that can handle most tasks without any hiccups.

I had an old mini iPad which has much less capacity. This iPad has much more storage and perfect size for me to put it on my piano score holder. It's light and handy. It's not expensive. It's worth it to get it!

Works great for what I need it to. Normally I'm a Samsung person but my daughter and I needed tablets and Samsung didn't have anything that sparked our interest in our price range. I bought her the cellular version and me just the Wi-Fi version 256GB couldn't beat the price! It takes some getting used to but runs smoothly. Only things I didn't like was i expected a better camera from an Apple I pad. both cameras are as if i bought a $100 phone. Also coming from Samsung where i can organize things it was a letdown that it puts things in folders for me and you can't change it. Come on Apple give people some freedom!! But other than that great tablet big screen.

First full sized iPad for my wife after two iPad Minis. She is enthralled by the larger screen, quicker response, and increased memory. She will stay engrossed in a game for an hour and not even realize it. I might get one for myself.

he iPad has quickly become one of my favorite devices. It’s super responsive, lightweight, and the display is absolutely stunning — perfect for everything from streaming and reading to productivity and creative work. Battery life is impressive, easily lasting all day, and the Apple Pencil support is a game-changer for note-taking and drawing. I also love how seamlessly it syncs with my other Apple devices. Whether I’m browsing the web, using it for work on the go, or just relaxing with Netflix, the iPad handles it all effortlessly. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a fast, reliable, and beautifully designed tablet.

Of all Apple's products, I believe their iPad is impeccably designed and is superior to all other tablets available. The increased storage is even more important as many games with large install sizes can be played on the iPad. The weight is good without being too heavy (compared to the Air) and the slightly larger screen size is nice to have, although it of course means a new round of enclosures/protectors/keyboards/cases, which is mildly frustrating but typical for Apple.

Since 2012, I have purchased several Apple products. None have disappointed. The original iMac Pro I purchased in 2012 still functions, but has physical damage from repeated lifting by the left front corner of the laptop from the table next to my chair. This is not an apple problem; I simply did not realize that the shell was flexing each time I did this. The repeated gesture wore an internal part over time. I did have it repaired in a "shade tree" shop. Other than the damage I inflicted, the laptop still works 12yrs later. I averaged 3yrs or less from PC's in the past. Mostly from the OS becoming junked up and unusable. My recent cell phone is also my first Apple and I'm completely satisfied. The 9th gen 10.2 iPad I purchased approximately 2wks ago is functioning like a charm. Something I have come to expect from Apple. With the steady increase in prices for high-end PC products, and the relatively steady pricing of Apple pricing (which all tend to be high-end), I will likely never purchase anything else. The new Apple-branded processor in my MacBook Air functions with no noticeable difference from the familiar high-end brand that has led the market for years. I have, so far, experienced the same functionality and speed from my new iPad. The price of this model, which isn't the latest, was very reasonable. My iPad was purchased online and picked up at the store. Best Buy has an excellent process in place for this type of shopping. I made the purchase and received a notice that is was ready for pickup a few minutes later; well within the time it took me to drive to the store (about half an hour). The wait in the pickup line was very short and the process well organized. The Best Buy website is also accurate and user friendly for comparison shopping. The prices are very competitive and consistently so. Completely satisified start to finish.

The new 6th Gen iPad Mini (2021) has several upgrades over the previous iPad Mini, and now looks more like a smaller version of the iPad Air. Notable upgrades over previous version: -Screen size: 8.3 in. liquid retina display, previous version was 7.9 in. -A15 chip: This is the latest Apple chip, previous version was A12 -Cameras: 12MP rear and 12MP front cameras, previous version was 8MP rear and 7MP front -Redesigned like Air: Slightly different shape, no home button, USB-C instead of lightning charger, fingerprint reader on side, volume controls on top, magnetic 2nd Gen Pencil charging on side. There are also new Pink and Purple colors available, Starlight instead of Gold, and still Space Grey. If you don't need a larger screen, this iPad Mini is a great option. Now with the USB-C and 2nd Gen Pencil support like the iPad Air, combined with the A15 chip and Center Stage front cameras, this Mini has some of the best features of the other iPads. It is a very capable device; it has the hardware to handle everything from drawing with the 2nd Gen Pencil, to watching movies, to gaming, to video calls. With the latest chip and OS, this is as future-proof as you can get, so this device should last you a long time. This could be worth upgrading from the previous iPad Mini, especially if you love the 2nd Gen Pencil. For me, the USB-C and 2nd Gen Pencil support makes it worth the higher price. The way the 2nd Gen Pencil just magnetically sticks to the side and charges is much easier than the 1st Gen Pencil. The only thing I wish this Mini had was a 120 Hz refresh screen, but other than that it is just about perfect. This is probably the most-value-for-money iPad at the moment, and is the one I'm using most often now because of the convenient size

I'm really happy with this iPad. I went with Apple since I wanted to try the Apple Pencil as well. The screen is a nice size, not too small, feels large. The price is the reason I went with this one, and although cheaper it is great compared to the other iPads, I would have expected it to be of a lot less value for that reason but it has been great for school work so far. Really easy to use, and looks like it'll last me a while.

my old ipad was one of the early models (only could update os to v10), so this is huge upgrade for me. great size, so much lighter. super fast. went with 256gb size for movies etc when I'm traveling, it's a better value over the 64gb version. it still has the headphone jack, which is ok. while it may not offer the latest and greatest options, since it is a good value and size, it is a great option for the average user. i did not rate durability since i haven't had it that long.

So far, so good. I went into the store to buy after daughters Gen. 8 is dying and pretty much wanted the same thing. We bought this one for $100 less than gen 8, with double GB so very happy. Easy to set up, still used the gen 8 case and all the same plug in cords and adaptors so that is nice. Does what we need it for so meets our needs at a great cost. We also need a plug in headset function and seems to be the last one-bc daughter cannot use earbuds for medical reasons. We had an exceptional person check us out today-great customer service big time for every single customer he came in contact with-well worth wait in line for this person.

I have been wanting an iPad for what seems like forever now. I mainly play games and browse the internet, so my main reason for the purchase is that I can't see my games well enough on my iPhone and wanted a larger screen. I'm very pleased with my purchase and upgraded to 256 GB. I will admit I'm going to have to one of my kids or grandkids set this up like I'd like it to be. I don't like icons all over the place and want folders set up but I can't figure out how to do it. I'm sure it's easy enough, but I don't know how. But......I love this iPad and the price was right!
