I bought this ipad for my nephew and he is more than happy especially with the big memory.

Design is a bit dated, but it's still a very nice tablet for someone with basic needs, or a kid.

When this iPad was delivered, it was in its factory box and wrapping, but when I tried to log on to it, I was informed that this iPad was registered to another person. When I took it back to the store, they determined that it was a used iPad that most likely had been returned or refurbished and was then rewrapped for sale as a new pad. They couldn't do anything besides selling me another iPad. I was able to register that one. This was a frustrating and time-consuming issue and certainly makes me wonder if I purchase something else, will be a used item rather than new. What is rather interesting is that there was a customer next to me in the customer service line who had purchased a desktop computer and was returning it because even though the computer was in the factory box when she bought, it was missing the power supply and the cables. Coincidence?

The only thing I dont like is the screen sometimes does react to my tap

It's everything I was expecting. It is a major improvement over my ipad 2nd generation.

iPad is good except for email. Does not allow email to garbage.

Very dissatisfied with quality of purchase. I have owned 3 other versions of iPads (2 mini and one previous generation of this regular iPad model comparable to this one). ALL of my older iPads still work great. This iPad just completely stopped working within 3 months of the apple care+ expiring. The ipad only lasted for about 2 years and then one day just completely stopped working all together, with it being used in the morning and then not functional 2 hours later. It was not used for heavy work, more browsing around and apps and well cared for - not dropped, no damage, etc. We brought the iPad to the smart bar at an apple store and we were told it was simply broke and nothing more could be done, no other explanation. We were then told we would simply have to purchase a new one, no discount offered, no trade-in/recycling offered just basically you are out of luck and let me show you the newest model. Extremely disappointing given the cost of the device. My niece who I purchased for is asking for a new one for Christmas to replace this but I will be shopping other tablets due to the lack of quality given it is the last one I purchased and first one to break with no support offered. I highly recommend looking at other brand tablets that cost way less and have similar capabilities.

I have not yet used this item and consequently am unable to properly evaluate or review. It did power up but that is the extent of my experience with this particular iPad… I am waiting for my current ones to completely die. My experience with previous versions has been mixed but disappointed with battery life on all apple products.

Love the IPad and glad I purchased it. Love some of the items that were not on my old one.
