    So this purchase was to rid my house of windows and cheap desktops. We were tired of all the pc crashes, freezes, and restore points. We have iPhones for 4 years and an iPad for 1. We have never had a problem with our iPhones and we new what we wanted when it came time to purchase a Mac. Should have done it sooner.

    I've had my new iMac for about three weeks. Got most of the files transferred from my 11-year-old iMac. The layout is very different, and I'm still getting used to the new configuration. Got Norton, Microsoft Office and Photoshop installed with minimal problems. The games I play on Facebook run smoother and faster.

    Excellent Apple product like always. However, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend spending the extra bucks to get an SSD! It will make a night and day difference in user experience! I kept getting slow app responses and the dreaded "beach" ball. I believe the new iMacs are now coming with 256Gb SSD as standard! FINALLY you get what you pay for!
