    I think the 5400RPM HDD is the culprit, but this thing is not suitable for regular productivity (Word, emails, Excel etc). I returned the first one I got because I thought it was defective. My base model 2017 MacBook Air blows this thing out of the water. I think it's because the MBair has a blade SSD and this has an old fashioned HDD. Upgrading is not an option, Buyer Beware. Stay away from this Mac

    The computer itself after hours on the phone with Apple is amazing now! I bought the computer thinking the screen was going to be smaller than I wanted because I wanted the 27". It's actually a decent size and I'm not an Apple person but I use it for my Cricut Design Space and love it! The only problem I had which I reached out and didn't get any response back was that I had to call Apple because the FaceTime and Messages didn't work. They told me the computer was used so I reached out to Best Buy because I paid for brand new! They still haven't gotten back to me after many attempts on my end!

    Bought this to run bootcamp because apple made a change and I could no longer play the game. After installing windows the game was so choppy and was slow to respond so I took it back within days.....I am a mac lover and to me bootcamp just dont work good on mac
