I'm a Mac user. I love Mac products. I have a MacBook Pro, iPad, and iPhone. I love them all. So I purchased this Mac for my wife to use for our business. As far as speed is concerned, it's the worst, and I mean the worst, computer I've ever purchased; Mac and PC alike. The screen is nice, but when all you ever see is the swirling wheel and the cursor typing 10 keys behind you, it's not worth the money. I'm really disappointed in this purchase and the jury is still out on whether or not I'm taking back to BestBuy to see if I can have something done about it.

can not get my fonts, as big as my old one? and sound is harder to adjust?

Mitigation problems it would I transfer information from another Mac. I let it run all night. I brought it back to Best Buy and they wanted 100.00 dollars to fix . I just bought it new and expect it to work properly. I returned it. It talking me time to buy another mac. I lost some confidence in the Mac

Very slow processor! Only a internet use machine. Not for content makers

This iMac was too slow and we had to return it. We bought an upgraded with additional al RAM and SSD drive and it is fast. The base model needs upgrades to be usable. I don’t have the patience to wait when opening every app.

I loved this iMac...unless the ethernet port was broken. I bought this in order to use ethernet since I don't like WiFi. But no matter what I did with Apple Support agent, ethernet never worked. And I ended up returning it.

Bought this as a replacement for my out of date Mac.

Slower response than expected. Takes time to process.

Just as good as other Mac products I have purchased in the past

Along with the IMAC, I bought the Total Tech Support package for $200 and the Apple Care for $139. I cannot get through to the Geek Squad for help. They were of no help whatsoever in installation, and cannot get through to help with security protection. Hold times of over an hour, then when I got through to someone, they hang up or refer you elsewhere for another hour wait. The individual at the store in Pleasant Hill responded once, but since then, ignores my emails. The online instructions don't work. So, looks like I spent an extra $239 and got nothing in return. Also, the IMAC I bought new was not the newest IMAC, according to Apple. It had been sitting on the shelf for months.

The computer is very slow when trying to do more than one task. Hopefully the new OS will speed it up soon. Should not be this slow for a new computer

This machine was uncharacteristically (vis-a-vis my iPad Pro and IPhone 8) slow and the resolution of monitor is poor. Can’t recommend.

I hate this iMac, I’ve had good experience with every other apple product I’ve owned, including apple watches, my iPhone 12 Pro Max, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air. This thing is insanely slow to the point where I just use my $200 chrome book instead. I’ve spent hours with apple support trying to get it resolved, but it’s barely used and 9 months old. I must have a defective one I suppose based on how many good reviews there are.

I bought this 2 weeks ago and it’s still trying to complete the transfer of my data from the cloud and my old iMac. I’ve had numerous Mac & MacBooks over the years. None were as slow as this machine. I’m taking this one back asap. If they don’t have a better product to replace it with, I may have to revert to a Windows machine.

I love Apple products just as much as the next guy but this was a regrettable purchase. Amazingly slow is all I can say. I've taken it to the Apple store for maintenance and apparently there's nothing wrong with it. I asked about upgrading the memory and was told that's not possible. I use this computer for word processing, filling out PDF forms and browsing the web. It should not be this slow by any means.

The worse Apple product ever. For an Imac this computer is a disgrace! All other computers even a turtle is faster that this. Takes forever to even open anything on it. At first I thought it was because it was updating and downloading updates and files so I let it go. Then later on nothing changed and it was just SLOW that it even hangs. Read up on it and its a common complain by most. I thought I got a good deal from Best Buy but instead I bought an expensive table trash decoration.

SUPER slow computer. I’ve owned Mac’s for over 15 years and this is by far the slowest one I’ve ever had. I have already returned this item.

Not very happy with this model. I bought it to replace another Mac of the same model. This one is super slow. Very disappointed.

This machine was barely out of the box before the fan came on--loudly--and would not turn off. I wasn't doing anything unusual, just using Word, and I tried all the fixes that Apple suggested, to no avail. Since I am working in Maryland now, and the closest Apple Store is an hour away and closed due to Covid, I had to take it to the nearest authorized dealer, almost 90 minutes away, to get it fixed. I am still waiting for the diagnosis and just hope it is covered by the warranty.

I waited to write this review in case a software update fixed my issues. It has not. This is worse than any Windows machine I have ever used. It freezes constantly. I sincerely regret buying it. Do yourself a favor ... save yourself money and go with a Windows machine. Apple is not what it once was.
