Pricey but if you are in the apple ecosystem I believe it’s worth it. Great sound and great bass.

I love HomePod! I paired it with 2 smaller one to create a whole home experience! And it’s lovely! It’s connected to my Apple TV. I will say it recently disconnected during a storm (power outage) and I had to reset the whole thing & connect it again… but still completely worth it!

My goal with the HomePod2 was to fill a small studio apartment with room filling ambient sound. Unfortunately, the HomePod2 failed in a number of ways. First, the sound of the speaker is too bright for me. Yes, the base is strong and present, but it is too tight and precise for me, also the mids and vocals seem too bright and artificially present. Second, with one HomePod2 the sound has a wide sound stage, but it still feels like a point source. With two HomePods in mono the sound was just too overwhelmingly bright even at low volumes. Something about the way the audio is being processed made listening uncomfortable. Third, when used as a stereo pair, the sound is very impressive and immersive when listening in the sweet spot, but not so great for general walking around. For all that I had heard about the HomePod having immersive room filling sound, I was not impressed. So I returned one and kept the other. I now use the single HomePod2 to augment my existing setup of three other competitive WiFi Airplay speakers. The auto audio adjustment feature of the HomePod2 works well to "fill in" for the lack of mid range vocal brightness of my other 3 speakers and enhances the room filling ambient effect I'm trying to create. AirPlay enables all my speakers to play in synchrony, two operating as a stereo pair, and two working in mono. However AirPlay can be frustrating at times because it is still slow to initiate and glitchy at times. With all the money Apple can apply to product and software development, both AirPlay and the HomePod2 should be better.

Love the quality of the sound. The bass is perfect, I really enjoy every song playing on it.

Love them. For heavy Apple users only !! For those that want tog o all in , these are the best speakers to tie your ecosystem together. I purchased the stereo pair myself , and use them as speakers for my TV(LG C1) and sound awesome. And have experimented using them in separate rooms to always have music playing. Worthwhile investment.

This is my 3rd HomePod and I love it. I own two orginal HomePods that I bought on releaae day, and they are still amazing. I use the older ones as a stereo pair for my tv. The new one is on my nightstand. Love the quality of the sound and the white just looks spectacular.

Easy access and good sonics for multiple uses. Great all-in-one smart speaker with decent bass.

I have (2) of these on each side of my large screen, they are laying at an angle inside my entertainment ctr because they were too tall otherwiseand finding stands was 99.9% ridiculously impossible. These are so versatile plus, football!!, so they are perfect! These babies thump and I've never had better speakers for surround sound than these

Incredible sound. This was the test device for Apple HomeKit to replace Alexa. Now we have two of the new HomePods paired in stereo and it is far beyond what we expected. And it convinced us to replace all of our Echo devices. Things have never sounded better nor worked as smoothly. Highly recommend this device as a high quality speaker and excellent smart home device. Spatial sound in stereo is a rich experience you will get hooked on.

Surprising amount of bass for how small it is. Will probably buy another one for the stereo pair.

I bought this HomePod to replace an older one. This HomePod certainly out does the first one I owned. Sound quality is very high and enjoyable, I will be buying a second one to pair up with this one.

So far, so good. This was a replacement for my first gen homepod. I feel that the older version packed a little more punch, or else this would have got five stars. Definatly not the most reasonably priced home speaker.

Great sound great design connectivity sometimes is weak or needs resetting

I am very happy with the speaker! It does everything I want and has superb sound with bass.

If you are in the Apple ecosystem this is a great option for a smart speaker and 2 of them are great to have a smart soundbar with atmos if you have an AppleTV. The spacial audio is good but I have vaulted ceilings which I don’t think is ideal but fills the space well.

I wasn't too impressed with the sound. Plus, it being a bluetooth unit , wouldn't come on when my tv was turned on. I would have to unplug my Appletv unit and then plug it back in. That's not for me. A speaker like this should be wired, Not bluetooth! My 2 cents. I returned mine and bought a aux. sound system through Amazon.
