Great Speaker, Siri not so much.

The speaker is great and integrates seamlessly for iPhone user. Siri has a lot of room for improvement to catch up to the competition though.

I can't help but like the Mini.

The HomePod mini is one of those devices I thought I'd hate. We invested in a number of the full-sized HomePods, and we were pretty sure we'd dislike the Minis in comparison. What's cool is that we were wrong. Yeah, they're not the amazing audio devices the full-size ones are, but they sound pretty good. We've found them useful on each side of the couch for late-night viewing. Plus, they've added Thread support to our smart home setup. For once, I'm glad I was wrong.

The HomePod is an outstanding speaker and Siri interface for HomeKit users. I'm constantly amazed how well it picks up my voice, from across the room, even with heavy metal blasting. Sound is phenomenal for a single speaker, it's super easy to setup, and also acts as a HomeKit hub for those into automation. It's a quality unit that looks as good as it sounds. Highly recommended!

Wow, the sound clarity and volume that this small speaker is able to produce is absolutely incredible. I recently moved my big office HomePod to the living room for a stereo setup and this HomePod mini replaced it. For an office, bedroom, kitchen, etc, this is a fantastic speaker. If you don't like Siri, you most likely won't like the HomePod mini. However if you're in the Apple ecosystem, this smart speaker fits in well and shows why a little more expensive product can be far superior to the old hockey puck smart speaker.

Just like all of the other reviews state, this speaker sounds amazing. I had a small google speaker before this one, I wanted something that would utilize my apple music subscription without using Bluetooth on my phone. The Apple Homepod sounds amazing! It really does, almost worried its too much for my apartment as I don't want the neighbors to be upset with how much bass this speaker has even at low volumes.

Truly, my house is an almost everything Apple home. However I never thought I’d ever buy the HomePod especially at $300. While we have home automation with Alexa and Google. Both me and my best friend also have mostly Apple devices. We stopped in our local BestBuy and we saw the HomePod on display. We tested it out and we were hooked line and sinker. However, once we got it setup 10 minutes and realized how freaking easy it was to setup we tested it in the home. The sensors in the device adjusts to the acoustic of the area it is placed in. We were in awe at how this device performed. My best friend had set tumbler down with a cold drink on the same table as the HomePod and as soon as he released the tumbler the HomePod made an adjustment to the quality of sound. He picked the tumbler out of disbelief thinking it was just my imagination. And the HomePod readjust itself again and then he put it back down and the HomePod again readjust the sound. Nevertheless the HomePod not only connected to our WiFi and Apple Music account all within the 10 minutes. I am very surprised Apple isn’t selling these at a record pace.

I genuinely did not know if I would enjoy the HomePod, but I have been thoroughly pleased with the product especially because I have been able to use my Spotify with it. Also, the sound quality and bass provided by the HomePod feels unmatched by any other smart home speaker such as the google home mini or Amazon Echo.

So we have a second tv on loft which is old Samsung. Typically TVs have very bad speakers and I wanted to something punchier but not invest in soundbar as it will be bulky. This works best for me. Its small enough to be unnoticed and being apple product, asthetically it looks brilliant. And it sounds amazing when paired with Apple TV 4k.

I love these HomePod Minis. I prefer buying them at Best Buy when they are on sale because the Apple website doesn’t have sales. I wish it was louder because I love to blast music….. but I guess I’ll just have to get myself another one for Christmas:)

Works as advertised. If you but one for each family member, the person with HomeKit installed under their name has to set it up using their phone. Them you have to wait for it to update and them you can move it over to individual apple accounts. They will still work on your whole house system. If you try to use them as stereo speakers it is not really easy to start and stop that when you have more than on user. But, you can tell one speaker to play in all speakers and that works fine - without stereo set up. Still learning how to use.

The Homepod Mini is a nice and well priced addition to the Homepod lineup. Sound quality is good, but not the same as the full sized Homepod.

I never saw where Apple showed or mentioned that it has a permanent power cord (although, alternatively, I don't think I would have wanted to keep recharging it). Typical Apple high quality, but expensive for what you get and compared to similar products made by other companies. A good source for Siri in your home, but if you have an Apple Watch, AppleTV, iPhone, iPad and a Mac, like me, it's overkill. Would be good for someone who doesn't already have a good speaker(s) on their TV or for their iPhone or Mac. They are nice if you have them in multiple rooms for the intercom feature and playing music in multiple rooms and also pairing 2 of them for the stereo option, but expensive to buy multiple.

I've used the Sonos system in my house for the past 5 years, and love them. The HomePod is different than Sonos, seems to be very Siri dependent (and I'm not a big Siri user). But once I spent some time using the HomePod it became easier and the sound is wonderful. Love the look too, very simple yet functional.
