I’ve had it for a few week but I love this little speaker. I use it mostly for audio from my TV (connected via Apple TV - connects through Bluetooth so should be possible through other Bluetooth-enabled TVs). It has brilliant sound, especially for films. The bass on it is the most noticeable difference compared to my TVs speakers. It is also so simple and fast to connect to any iOS device, so if you just get home you can easily connect to the HomePod and continue listening to your music or podcast.

Pretty good product. Sound is good and really loud. Easy to set up. Only complaint is that it doesn’t always connect like I want it to. Also a noticeable delay before Siri responds.

I bought this to put in the kitchen so I can still hear what I’m watching on the TV because the speakers aren’t too great. Setup was very easy, as you’d expect from Apple, but the best thing is the sound quality. I was incredibly surprised by how clear it is but mostly the by the bass. Obviously it’s not much compared to the original HomePod but it still packs a punch. If you’ve been debating on it at any point, just go for it. The price is perfect for what you’re getting and you won’t be disappointed.

I was really worried buying this speaker because of the other reviews I read online. However, I love it! I am already trapped in the Mac ecosystem so this was easy to use. I like that it hooks to my Apple Music. The best feature is that the music still plays when I take calls or do other things like watch Netflix. That wasn't the case for the Bose Colorlink 2. I also like that when it has played through my playlist it automatically starts playing recommended music. And that it doesn't require my phone to be in range.

I bought a set of these for my living room to use as a stereo pair. I love using them with my Apple TV, and I can use them in somewhat of a surround sound way by also having my sound bar selected for sound output. Very good addition to my home theater setup. The blue looks awesome with everything else in my living room. Plus the other features are great for just listening to music and asking Siri to set timers and what the weather’s like today.

Great sound, great apple integration. Apple Music subscription is a must. All I have to say is "privacy anyone?" If you're tired of seeing the items you mention in your house pop up "all of a sudden" on your echo show because you know, Amazon is not listening all the time, then make the switch. Get 5 of these and have a great whole house experience. One note that I cannot for the life of me understand why Apple can't do it is turn these into a true intercom... Apple's version of "intercom" is kind of a joke. It's more of an announcement service. Intercom is a two-way communication. No matter, I'm safe and secure and sound great so I'm happy. Maybe an update will change that. BUY IT!

I already have a big HomePod and love it, this mini I just bought for my basement workshop does not disappoint. The sound is full and plenty to hear well at maximum volume. It won't blow you out of the room but it has a decent high volume and the sound is not lacking for anything. Speaking to have it take notes, set alarms, timers, add items to lists is a great feature you will actually use a lot! Good sound, small or not it's got good sound and I'm very pleased with it and setup is such a breeze with an iPad, or iPhone.

Amazing sound in this little package. Almost as good as its bigger sibling. Don't think of it as a competitor for Amazon and Google devices. Amazon's primary goal is to sell you stuff. Google's primary goal is to sell you (your data, that is). Their "assistants" are pretty good at what they do but the speakers don't sound all that great. Apple is about the music; they don't sell your data. Siri does what it's supposed to do. HomePod and HomePod mini are for music and they work beautifully and sound great.

I was kinda shocked on how well this device works . I love how small but powerful it is great for the kids ! I will say I was having a little trouble connecting my phone but once I updated my phone it was running smoothly! Not sure if that had anything to do with it or not . But overall it’s great for the price and a good gift to give !!

A bigger, better sound than it’s size suggests

If you are in to the Apple system, the mini is perfect for small rooms with plenty of available volume. While it cannot reproduce deep base, unlike it’s bigger brother it does not try to produce bass sounds that are out of it’s normal range, which is a plus. As long as you don’t crank it all the way up, the sound is very good given its price point. If you use IOT devices using Apple’s HomeKit, it can be your required hub and enable vast improvement in Bluetooth connected devices that use Thread.

Grabbed three of these and have not been disappointed. I never would spring for the original HomePod due to the cost, but the price on these allowed me to have one in the den, living room, and the bedroom. When you have them all playing in sync it’s the easiest ‘whole home audio’ you can get. Handoff between my phone, Powerbeats pro headphones, and the mini isn’t as smooth as I like but it doesn’t take much to get it corrected when it does mess up. One of my best audio purchases in years.

Inch per Inch, this little mini packs a punch. The sound is crystal clear, bass is on point. For what I need it to do, it does it and does it well. I use it my home office and a creates a beautiful sound,

Sounds clear, goes fairly loud and overall works great. Easy to airplay sound from a phone to it. Sound for the size is impressive, and I liked that the settings allow for bass boost or cut depending on where the HomePod is located (ie reducing bass if near a wall or corner).

I purchased this to add to my Apple TV and I love how it sounds. It sits on the side table next to my recliner and makes it nice when watching TV as the speaker is much closer than my TV speakers so I don't have to crank the volume up as much. In addition to the speaker functionality I like that I can use Siri with it and use this for things like setting alarms, timers, playing Apple Music etc. Overall, it's been a worthwhile investment for me.

Let's start with the good! They sound really great for the size. I've got two and I love listening to the same thing upstairs AND downstairs at the same time. Pretty cool! They're easy to connect and when they work well they work great. The downsides... They rely on a wifi connection. Our wifi cuts out when we're hosting multiple people at our house and that is EXACTLY when we WANT TO USE THEM. So they cut out constantly because they rely on wifi instead of just Bluetooth connectivity. The biggest con, is that they don't work with Spotify, which is where all of my girlfriends playlists are (I bought them for HER for Christmas). So when you want to control it using "Hey Siri" it starts playing apple music and the playlists are straight trash unless you go through and remake all of your playlists. So I created a playlist for them to play so I could set and forget for an afternoon. Except it kept playing from the album the songs were from instead of the order of the playlist. Apple Music is doing great things with Lossless audio but the playlists and radios are a DEAL BREAKER. They work great for having a timer that you can set and listen to from anywhere in the house. But honestly... We're probably going to return them. The smart home technology is just not there yet and having a reliable Bluetooth speaker that you can just bring around with you instead of having it plugged in all the time and needing wifi outweighs any of the smart tech advantages. They WOULD be so cool. If they worked how they were supposed to and worked with Spotify. I have everything Apple. iPad Pro 12.9 2020 with Magic Keyboard and Pencil (so does my gf.) Our business runs from the MacBook Pro M1 Max and M1 13''. Amazing technologies. I even have the AirPods Max, I'm a bonafide Apple sheep.... but these things suck.
