Perfect and just what we wanted for my son’s Christmas present

The sound on the whole pod is incredible.I would give it an excellent review if it wasn’t for the fact that it depends so much on owning other Apple products to enjoy it. If you’re part of the apple ecosystem then by all means invest in this HomePod. Unfortunately, if you’re not then you may wanna pass on this.

It’s a must if you use Apple Music. Clean and rich sound fills the room without any distortion. The depth and clarity of the music is on par with systems that cost 10x more. From lows to mids and highs. Amazing sound quality.

This is the best wireless in-home speaker hands down. I have tested many speakers like Sonos, Amazon, etc. None compare to the amazing the sound quality the HomePod delivers. Definitely worth buying, recommend 100%!

These are beautifully made speakers, but the bass is overpowering. Most music is muddy sounding given the bass, even with adjustments made through equalizer on music played through my iPhone. I wanted to love these speakers. I bought 2 and set up as stereo pair in office. When you could find music with minimal bass profile, they sounded great. I wish Apple would offer a couple of native profiles imbedded in the speakers that would allow you to change the bass emphasis. Probably not going to happen, given Apple’s arrogance about their engineering. Great sale price at Best Buy, unfortunately I returned them. Once things open up again, I would recommend listening to them before you purchase.

I bought this to replace a Sonos system that constantly went out of sync when playing in multiple rooms. The HomePod has no sync issues and sounds better, it fills the room better than Sonos.

Can't say enough about the quality of this. I know some criticize that Alexa is better virtual assistant to Siri, but the sound quality when used in the "pair" mode with two HomePods is simply unbeatable. Got these on a great Christmastime sale!

Good for playing music only recognizes music for apple and only you buy and pay for not much for 3 party music app radio only maybe new model gets better and hope IOS 16 change things of course if you like arguments with SIRI this perfect tool

I bought the HomePod a while back. I thought it would be a lot like the Alexa, but not really. I have Spotify, not Apple Music, so it won’t play the music I want without me using my phone. It doesn’t work with my cameras or doorbell. But I use it to listen to music and watch movies and the sound is crisp and clear!

I love this HomePod I use it to play music and it works well!

I have a couple of Echo/Alexa devices that I use to control home devices. Since I am deep into the Apple ecosystem, I was interested in getting a HomePod for intergration with my music and for better sound quality. When the price dropped by $100, I bought one. While control of my Wemo devices was faster and smoother with the HomePod, I do not agree with the seemingly vast majority of people who think the sound is great. I was very disappointed that mostly midrange and voice sounds were very muffled almost like the HomePod was wrapped in plastic. I moved the HomePod to other locations in the room with the same result. This was a significant negative for me since I prefer more crisp, clear sound. The base range was more than adequate, almost to the point of being too “boomy.” I am returning this HomePod and hoping the next generation that is rumored to be coming out by mid 2019 will address the sound issues or at least provide the option of manual sound adjustments.
