Love it great sound small package pair well with iOS home system

Good sound quality - paired it with another for stereo which was easy. Very small and compact. Siri also works much better than the 1st gen Homepod it replaced. Just wish the bass was a bit stronger - Apple should provide a subwoofer (or partner with another company who does) and it would be perfect.

This is packing a lot of power. Coming from the home pod it was easy to put in place. I just struggle with the issues of getting this connected easily. Was very challenging to connect to computer or disconnect from my phone. I feel apple did not fully integrate this device like other devices.

these bad boys fill up a room before hitting 100% volume. even at 100%, there is no distortion and it sounds clear. in stereo pair, these are even better. affordable speaker for what it offers.

I cannot believe that this product was open box this is a perfect perfect HomePod and I am impressed! it works exactly as it is supposed to and it is covered by AppleCare what more could you expect! Best Buy for the win!

The Apple HomePod mini surprised me - in a surprisingly and wholly unexpected way. By itself, the sound is good, I'd call it better than similar priced devices from Amazon, and in it's diminutive size it crushes a comparably-sized Amazon device. Set up was the usual wonderfully easy Apple experience and took only a few minutes. Where this sizzled for me, a wow factor I didn't expect - as I was playing with sound from my Sonos and Bose devices I discovered in a single click I had Sonos+Apple Mini! And WOW suddenly the HomePod mini took off as part my Sonos speakers and subwoofer. My home office, spot for the HomePod mini, suddenly had that extra level of depth. I'll admit I went from "hmm, I'm not sure" to "wowza, keeping this!" A fellow shopper in my local Honolulu store was also the typical enthusiast/salesperson. She saw me playing with the in store demo and came over and made sure I knew it was on sale and said to buy two, not one, and the music will take off. So I'll pay that forward - by itself, it's Good, especially if you already have Apple devices in general. But she had the right advice and I have to agree - if you have Sonos, click the button in your Apple phone or iPad to have it all come together. If not, get two of these little softballs to fill in great sound in a small space. That's why I give it 5 stars/Excellent - it's Good by itself, but the sizzle is when you bring in one more, then it hits Excellent.

Bought two and they sound great. Much louder than I expected. Open kitchen / living room setting and it’s more than enough power that we never need it above 75%. I still prefer one HomePod but for the price these are fantastic.

I have the bigger version of the HomePods and did not expect much out of the little brother. However I was pleasantly surprised with the sound and just how compact this speaker is. Great value for the price !!!

I love mines! I have two around the house and the “find my” and intercom features are a godsend! The sound quality is nice, lacks bass in a larger room BUT the clarity makes up for it! In a smaller room the bass thumps.

Awesome sound and easy setup. I got two and I would really prefer it. One on each side of the tv. In a room that’s about 30 by 25 foot. Sounds great. Best Buy shipped it faster the Apple could do I ordered through Best Buy instead.

When they say mini , they really mean mini. Its the size of an oversized apple ( get it Apple ). Yet it packs sound power and bass. This home entertainment speaker is worth the buy.

The HomePod mini has some improvements over the HomePod: it's much less expensive and it will allow you to use it as a smart speaker that will interface with your other Apple devices and apps, including other HomePod minis, Apple TV and the Apple Home app. The main drawback of the mini is that the sound is not nearly as full and complex as the original. Apple has clearly made a strategic decision to develop a consumer product that will be competitive with Amazon Echo smart speakers, and sound quality is a calculated sacrifice for market penetration. The mini allows the creation of "scenes" along with the Home app so that you can, for example, program your Apple TV to turn on and play a favorite channel when you say, "Hey Siri, Arrive Home." The mini requires some patience: not everything is intuitive and to take full advantage of this new member of the Apple ecosystem you'll have to invest some research.

Considering the size, this is a powerful little speaker! I have a few original homepods which are amazing sound system. The HomePod Mini adds more high quality sound to additional rooms at affordable pricing! Highly recommend!!!

I’d take this over the Original HomePod ..it’s more functional and it doesn’t take up much room. And if your in the Apple ecosystem you will definitely enjoy this. The Sound from this tiny speaking is The selling point.

The sound from this little bubble is impressive, and I imagine using two together would be as well. It’s pleasant to have as a quick way to ask Siri for favors. I’m very happy with this product. It is only 4 stars because a visual interface, or deeper control through the Home app, would make this a lot more useful. Also, setup was not plug and play for me, but you might have better luck. I had to troubleshoot and it took a solid 30 minutes or more before it got going.
