Best Sounding Smart Speaker

It has unbelievable sound quality and presence. And now with an AppleTv 4K and the latest software the HomePods will play 5.1, 7.1 and Atmos surround sound! Remember the main reason to get a speaker is for the quality of sound not necessarily how ‘smart’ it is.

I love the sound quality on its own and especially in stereo mode. I have two HomePods, one grey and this white one. I use these as the speakers for my Apple TV and they are great for that! Movies and music are great on it! Highly recommended!

Solid Apple product but expensive

The new proximity handoff from a phone is really useful. The price is the only reason I give this 4 stars, it’s a steep apple tax to pay, over the much less expensive speakers from Amazon or Google. But, as with all Apple products, the integrated ecosystem of Apple is definitely a plus.

LOVE this product

We can ask Siri to play anything (we have an Apple Music subscription), which makes this even more fun. She actually listens and understands us. We can make her turn the music up or down, the sound is great, and we have it hooked into our Apple TV so we can also use it for surround sound for the TV when we want. Love this product!!!

If you are looking for a smart speaker that has the best sound, this is it! When it comes to actual smart features however I prefer "Alexa" products. If you're an Apple user, this is the best speaker to get.
