I don’t know why people have been writing negative reviews about it, I think it sounds fantastic. The clarity of the sound as well as the subwoofer which I love give it that extra bass that most Bluetooth speakers lack. Although my only complaint about it is I wish it was wireless, but other than great product Apple!

Have owned for 3 weeks now and love this thing. Amazing sound. Am literally rediscovering albums from the last few decades. James Blake, Burial, Bjork, Radiohead, even Phil Collins sounds amazing on this thing. If you use Apple Music, do yourself a favor and get the Homepod. It will give you years of enjoyment.

If your looking for this to be just a Smart Speaker to ask questions look somewhere else, but if you want a great speaker with some smarts to control your music and homekit stuff this is awesome. I can't believe the sound quality in such a small speaker. This thing isn't google smart but Apple doesn't do search, so it is a niche product for sure.

As a “smart speaker” with Siri - it is what it is and I was quite familiar with those shortcomings when I bought the HomePod. We have several echos in the house - first and second gen and an echo show but the HomePod is far and beyond in audio quality

Well worth the money if you’re looking for a good home assistant and you want to be in the Apple ecosystem.

I had the Amazon studio speaker/hub first, but the music quality was extremely low you could tell that Amazon basically put multiple speakers inside the Studio’s body and called it a day. Apple on the other hand clearly thought about every tiny aspect of the HomePod, and the music quality is 100,000x better!!

Best smart speaker around. Already have 5 in the house and plan on adding more.

We are very happy with the purchase of the Apple HomePod Mini, it was exactly what we were looking for.

I reallllllly wanted to love the HomePod mini.. but it’s more expensive than the Echo Dot and will have you aggravated more often than not.. I mainly used the echo dot for shopping lists and as an intercom.. the HomePod mini or Siri often says things like “hmm im having trouble who are you” “who’s speaking” “I can’t connect right now” or “ I can’t find a shopping list” it’s beyond frustrating you basically have to unplug it and replug it back in and that may not fix it .. having it play “rain sounds” at night isn’t as good as Alexa either as it’s not a true continuous loop but maybe 30 minutes of a sound that very obviously starts replaying a loop than just a seemless night of rain noise …and saying hey siri instead of just Alexa will take time to get use to lol

Purchased just after Christmas for $249. $100 off normal price. Not the smartest of home automation kits but a great speaker. Siri is very limited. This fits my needs as it’s primary use is music/tv speaker. It has smart home capabilities. Sound quality is excellent. Actually purchased 2 and they are paired in my bedroom for great surround sound.

Works well with all of my other Apple products. HomeKit could use a little work but it’s a great product

Bought the Mini as a gift for my son who is very pleased with it. Says it is the best gift I’ve given him.

We purchased this to replace our Google Home. The sound quality of this is really worth every penny, it is probably more appropriate to compare to Sonos/Bose rather than Google/Amazon products. While Siri doesn't support as many devices, the better privacy policies make me more comfortable using the smart functionality.
