I always wanted a apple HomePod but didn’t think it was worth the $200 price. Well then came the mini and at $100 it’s worth the money. The integration with my phone, iPad and Apple TV is great. The sound is crisp with great bass and it makes controlling my smart lights simple and easy.

I love the HomePod mini. Having a HomePod, I purchased the mini before even hearing the audio quality. I was blown away at the sound, clarity, and power this little guy offered. It is a great way of putting music and the power of Siri all throughout the house. I plan on getting several more!

This is great product. It’s louder than you think and can fill a room

Aside from Siri, HomePod Mini is a great value. While it looks small, the sound is huge! Way better than my Google Home Mini… other than the virtual assistant.

I own four of these now, so I can set two stereo pairs. You won't blow the windows out but great sound. The added Siri functions, if you're an Apple junkie like myself, just make them even better. Easiest setup imaginable, total plug and play.

love this HomePod mini. This is my first HomePod and it's perfect. It's small, doesn't take up much space on my work desk, but still delivers. For music, it plays great. I have Apple Music so it syncs perfectly. Definitely adds a touch to my work desk as well. I love it. No complaints!

Great sound for the price, This is my third HomePod mini. This one fills my art room with music. It was easy to set up and they are easy to use with the TV. Works seamlessly with all of my other Apple products

Excellent sound quality. Easy to use. I have two hooked up to my Apple TV and love steaming music and phone calls to them from my laptop or phone. Super easy to set up and use.

I actually have 2 sets of these little speakers. 1 in the bedroom where we can listen to music as we try to fall asleep. The other in the family room where we can listen to our favorite music instead of watching TV.

I love the HomePod mini! It works great! I did have trouble setting it up in the beginning. But I think that was my wife routers fault. I ended up having to connect to an extender in order to get airplay to work. But overall, now it it works! I love the handoff feature and using it for calls. And the sound is astonishing especially with music. Has great bass!

It has nice sound from a small package. I have several throughout the house, and it’s nice to play music easily all over. Combined with HomeKit, they make it easy to have Siri in each room for smart home control and automation.

I had one setting in front of my computer monitor and really liked the way jazz vocalists sounded like they were singing across a small room from me. Bought myself a 2nd one as a splurge birthday present and what a difference it makes (as a stereo pair).
I have them setting about 5 feet apart on either side of my monitor and am very impressed at the sound stage they create.
I have a pair of Polk Audio (70's vintage) studio monitors with a 100 watt per channel amp, and can easily stream in either direction, but find myself listening to the pair of HomePod minis. Hard to believe the sound Apple gets out of a speaker with only 1 (computational audio?) driver.
HomePod Mini also adds thread support as a home automation hub for Apple HomeKit. This was just a fringe benefit I could use with Home accessories as I moved the hub off an Apple TV.

While it may not boast as many features as other smart speakers, the compatibility that comes with the HomePod is worth the price tag. The sound is great, with especially strong bass; and Siri is just as smart here as on the iPhone (for better or for worse). For those already using Apple products and HomeKit-enabled devices, this is a necessary addition to your smart home.

TBH initially I wasn't pleased with the sound of it at all! I've gotten so used to listening to music underneath the bump and vibration of (Beats) bass that I didn't recognize real quality any more. I didn't pay attention to the fact that I can clearly hear every instrument (individually) as well as every lyric spoke within the song playing. I didn't notice the awesomeness of this tiny little box until I was in a completely separate room away from it, yet I heard every sound described above in perfectly pristine quality as if the music was live & followed me into the next room. Suddenly I remembered the quality sound of the Bose products my parents owned. The beauty of clear, quality sound wrapping around you.
The overall appearance of the speaker speaks to it not being a cheap reproduction. The texture is great to the touch. It feels very durable and is comfortable on the hands, easy to grip & carry.

A stereo pair of these is about the best speaker setup one can get for $200. They sound good for the price but will not be impressing very many. Admittedly, they don’t sound as good as a single original HomePod, but for $200 I can’t much complain. This is the only use for HomePods (original or mini)— they are speakers with huge limitations.
Audio aside, as a smart speaker they’re indeed pretty bad, hence four stars and not five. Siri is a chore to interact with and struggles with even official HomeKit accessories (Phillips Hue comes to mind). As a pure speaker they’re also lacking, having no wired or Bluetooth options. Airplay is vastly better for audio quality but AudioOS 15.1 introduced speaker failure while using Airplay, and non-Apple devices won’t play nice.
Long term support is poor. The original HomePod was discontinued and had a hardware flaw causing many to break entirely mere years in with no repair options. Non-Apple speakers typically last at least a decade, so this is disappointing and makes for a spotty investment. Approach with caution, I bought them as quasi-disposables and won’t be too upset if they break.

Bought these in a pair for my parents living room. I will say In a big room they can feel a tad quiet for movies paired with the Apple TV. Since the others are discontinued these will do. Would be perfect for a room. Siri is nice. They’re easy to use for my parents.
