I would give this like a 4.5 star review. Its not perfect, "Alexa" and "hey google" are probably better androids and the price for the home pod mini is higher than the similar sized product from amazon and google. But in the end, this is a beautiful, clean, reliable and secure device that sounds SIGNIFICANTLY better than the Google home mini and echo dot, like its not even close. I plan to get a couple more and would like to hear how much better stereo pairing the music would be. It doesn't bother me that Siri isn't as smart as the others, but it for sure is the safest and most secure at protecting your privacy. my only dock on this would be the price vs its direct competitors, but to me, the quality and sound more than make up for it. Especially as your turn up the volume, it still sounds great and doesn't dilute like the competitors. I'm also impressed at how lightly I can say "Hey Siri" when the music is loud and she will still hear me.

The sound the HomePod mini provides is excellent in my small bathroom. I do like the fact I can transfer my song I’m listening to directly from my phone to the speaker with a tap of the phone. Only reason why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is there are other speakers I have that produce better sound for the price point.

Great product. I purchased this as a gift for my son and he loves it. The color is very cool and looks amazing. Easy to set up and the audio quality is great. My son is trilled. It has a lot of features I can't explain, but he claims it's awesome.

Though I prefer the better sound of the larger HomePod, now discontinued, this is probably a better deal for the price. A few of these around the house plus AirPlay 2 makes for a pretty nice whole house audio system.

You have your Apple TV... it's perfect because they connect, and you can watch your movies like in the cinema... subwoofer sound (not so loud but it sounds good enough for a bedroom) when you listen to music, it sets aside notifications from your iPhone and calls, I recommend it for cheap.

Just what I need for my small home office space. The sound is exceptionally good for a 100 square foot area. For a speaker the size of softball it’s all one can ask for and the price is a big plus for a Apple product. Well worth the investment.

Great little speaker! Very easy to use and set up. It handles many of the tasks that an Echo handles. Handing off music to it from your phone is super simple. And it looks great on the counter!

This little speakers has a big volume. It is so loud and worth the price. I carry this around in my house and it connects in any room. You can use it with other music apps you just can’t command Siri to play any other app that’s not iTunes.

I really like this HomePod mini. Already have a full size HomePod but needed something smaller for my exercise room. My spouse prefers Sony portable speaker. However, I like the mini. Plus it seamlessly integrates into the Apple ecosystem.

LOVE my HomePod mini!! I think I’ll buy another and pair them for stereo sound. GREAT sound for such a small device and having Siri with HomeKit makes things easier around the house. Makes a great speaker phone for phone and Zoom calls.

It is a great smart speaker when it wants to cooperate but every once in a while it will decide to cause trouble with connectivity. Usually it works fine except sometimes when you airdrop music from APPLE MUSIC it will decide to stop music randomly or decide to not play it even though on same wifi, unplugging it and plugging it back seems to fix it but can be annoying occassionally.

Bought for my daughter and niece for Christmas. Purchased for another daughter last year and her sister always used it so got her one this time. Sound quality is nice. For a small unit volume gets pretty loud.

Dont use it too much but has some big sound when I do. Glad to have this since I have an iPhone. Makes pairing and using much easier. Only thing I don't like is that it will not play music if you did not download directly from apple music. Anything downloaded elsewhere will get skipped and not play on the speaker.

Bought 2 open box Homepod Minis, both in white, at separate times within 2 weeks of each other.
Harder to find yellow and orange versions.
It's still Overpriced for what it is but saved some money by buying the open box returned items.
Wipe them both down with disinfect wipes to clean.
One qualified for Applecare while the other did not. Doesn't matter as it won't leave the house and both appeared really new as in people returned it almost immediately so BB can't resell as new.
The sound is acceptable, considering it's only used for streaming music and audiobooks from my iPhone.
Set them up to have stereo pairing, one on the left and one on the right of each other and used in the living room.
There's a slight pause when turning on to stream but it works.
Siri is a pain as it doesn't work well so only used to get outside weather temperature and the current time.
What's needed for future versions:
1. Battery power option
2. Removable power cable, like the bigger Homepod 2.
3. Include the Bluetooth functionality
4. Work with other devices like PCs/laptops and Non-Apple TVs (as a normal (dumb) speaker)
5. Add stereo pairing with the bigger Homepod speaker
6. Add the update button in the Home app
7. Add instructions on how to Reset the mini (press down on top until lights turn red then white, hopefully it beeps to tell you that it's done).
There are other brands with better speakers and prices that offer better functionality.

If you buy two, you get great stereo sound. Not as good sound as original Homepod that was discontinued, but more affordable. If you have Apple Music, it works well. Still not as functional as the Amazon Echo, but I have hopes.

Great sound. Very affordable price given it’s an Apple product.
