Great sound for a small speaker. I liked it so much I went back to buy another homepod.

I tried to not give a review of this product since I am a real Apple fan and one that I could not say much that is positive but after several email messages, decided to go ahead. Firstly, I am over 60 and have been a musician since the age of eleven when I got my first guitar for Christmas. Many years later, I clearly understand that while the rhythm and bass are a wonderful, primal energy laying a solid foundation for the exploration of music, the true musicality of most well composed songs/pieces lies resolutely within the upper mid to lower high frequencies. This range is where music rises up and soars! Unfortunately, this otherwise superb speaker is so bass/boom heavy that musicality is inexorably lost. Since Apple has seen fit to give us no ability to adjust the speakers balance I find the experience of listening to music through it, (whether rock, pop, jazz, ambient, or classical), most often ranges from unpleasant to downright annoying. For me, the purchase of this device was a very disappointing and expensive mistake.

It has good sound, nice design. But it is not smart. Hope Apple have new firmware to make it smarter.

Very easy setup; good sound and microphone; mostly apple connectivity and functionality; siri could benefit from expanded functionality.

The sound on this was really good, it just wasn’t good enough to make it $300. It was the sub that to me didn’t make it worth it.

For its size, it’s the best speaker in the market but will need an Apple product.

Great speaker and assistance from Siri but you have to have an iphone to use it. My wife gets to use it but I don't.. I use android.

I like this little speaker. The sound isn’t bad at all. The only thing is I wish it was a little more capable when you ask it questions.
