I love how myxh bass this speaker has. It plays music from tour phone without interference frin calls. Truly awesome

Better than an Alexa. Better sound and better bass. Really great to use on Apple Classics.

I love it. The only negative I have for it is, some commands you have to use your phone for. But I’m sure Apple will come out with an update to fix this concern. Positive thing, the speaker is good quality sound and Siri is so much better then the phone.

Very good sound for background music, just don’t expect movie theater volume and clarity. Plays loud and clear for its size. I have a pair set up as stereo in my bedroom. The upper bass is a little to emphasized and the treble falls off a little more than I like but overall I am impressed.

The mini home pod is a great addition to your apple ecosystem. The sound from such a little speaker is amazing. Would recommend this for anyone looking to add sound to a small room or use for extra TV sound.

If you're like me and stuck in the Apple ecosystem, you might as well pick up a couple of HomePod Minis. We use two of them as speakers for our Apple TV, and plan to add more as an intercom system in our house.

Great sound small conpact good look and color love it

Having the Apple eco-system at home this was an add on as the color and functionality are awesome. Love it and its a talking piece in the living room, with great sound and love that color!

A rather pretty mini. I gave it as a gift to my son and he is well pleased. It has good sound quality and easy to use since it connects so easily to the other apple devices. He enjoys playing his songs through it.

I already have several of these, I like that they can be connected to each other, good sound quality and perfect to add it to your apple tv and watch movies

Sounds great for its size! I bought 5 minis and 2 full size that I have throughout the house. Must have addition if you are vested in the Apple ecosystem. Pair these with Phillips Hue lighting which also runs through the Apple HomeKit app. While a bit pricey, the full size versions at $300 each sound awesome on their own, but are incredible if you pair 2 together in the same room. A combined 14 tweeters, 2 woofers, and 12 microphones. I had the music cranking almost to the max and could not believe that it actually heard me practically whisper Hey Siri from across the room and responded. The minis do not have as many mics, so you may have to raise your voice a bit more. Alexa got kicked to the curb, or in a garage sale box, once I got these.

To get this out of the way upfront, I am in the Apple ecosystem. I have iPads, iPhones, and MacBook Pros and like the way they work together. In its current form, this is not a product for everyone. I would think it would be practically unusable if you weren’t at least partially in Apple’s ecosystem. If you want the device to stream music from an internet source, you need to have an Apple Music subscription. I don’t, but I have iTunes Match so this device can stream my music from the cloud. Unlike other devices, like my Echo, it doesn’t support Pandora, Spotify, etc at this time. You can use AirPlay and send these sources to your HomePod from your phone, iPad, MacBook, but not without. The sound quality is very good for its size. It is able to fill the room, sounds clear and crisp, with a good overall sound. Some reviews complain about too much bass. I can see this being true, as it does seem to emphasize bass a little bit. I haven’t noticed it to be a problem in the genres I listen to (Country and Classic Rock primarily). As far as a smart speaker, it does a great job of hearing your spoken commands. I think it exceeds the competition here. Siri almost never miss hears me or ignores me. I can’t say the same for Alexa. Siri has gotten a lot better since this was released. There are still some things she ‘can’t do on this HomePod’ but overall is pretty good. I have to take away one star because of one problem. Being in the Apple ecosystem, I wanted to have Siri add things to my grocery list, reminders, send texts, etc, and I get told the iPhone that was used to setup HomePod must be on the same Wi-Fi network much too often when it is sitting right next to me. I do think it is a 4 star product with the other limitations mentioned above because it generally does everything it promises to do very well. If you are unaware of the limitations, you may be disappointed. Another thing to consider is the color. I went with the black because the white was dirty immediately after being taken out of the box.

Packa a nice punch for it's size, and sounds much better than an Echo dot and similar in the price range.

This is easily the most useless and unsuccessful Apple product I’ve owned. It’s the first time I’ve felt genuinely undersatisfied with an Apple purchase. Apple markets HomePod as offering “seamless transfers,” but that only applies to music. You cannot transfer or use it for app-based calls like Zoom, Teams, or WhatsApp. A basic $30 Bluetooth speaker can handle those without issue. In that sense, this is objectively worse than a cheap speaker. Sound quality is not impressive either. It’s fine, but nothing special, and in my experience not better than an Amazon Echo. For the price, it’s overpriced and underwhelming. The behavior is also unreliable. It randomly starts playing music without any clear trigger, and when that happens, you often can’t even stop or control it properly from the phone. This has happened multiple times, and it feels unpredictable and buggy. Connection with a Mac is unstable. You cannot rely on it as a permanent external speaker. It disconnects, fails to reconnect, and generally does not behave like a normal audio device. Bottom line: this is not a smart speaker in any practical sense. It’s a very restricted music appliance with confusing limitations that Apple does not clearly disclose. Honestly, a $15 knockoff Bluetooth speaker would be more versatile and seamless for everyday use. Extremely disappointing.

I purchased this after buying the recently discontinued HomePod. This is an awesome little speaker... super easy to set up and use! I'll be using this in my garage gym. Sound quality is amazing for it's size.

Got this for my birthday, very powerful sound and the color is very cute

My Bluetooth speakerphone died so I thought I would kill 2 birds with one stone by getting this. Music piece works very nice, hence the 4 stars. For a small speaker, the sound is very good. I'm no audiophile but am very pleased. Siri integration works well with the built in Music app. However, the she speakerphone function isn't as good. When it works, it works well. People on other end hear me fine and I can her them clearly. The problem is that it doesn't always work. Sometimes I can answer the phone with Siri "Siri, answer the phone", other times it only rings on my phone. Somestimes, I initiate the call and the person answers, only to keep hearing the ring-ring-ring in the background until I hang up. Bizarre. So, if you are looking for a lowcost music speaker that sounds great, this will work well. If you want to integrate it with your iPhone to answer calls, you might want to pass.

Fantastic sound out of the MINI! Integrates very well with other HomePods and it's the perfect size for a bedroom and other small rooms. Will be buying another 2, one to be used for my office at work. Highly recommend!
