I am able to do so much with this device. It can read text messages and respond to them. It allows me to control all the lights in my house and I can play music from it.

As Useful as you Make it

Providing the "core functionality of a voice assistant (minus the gimmick you get from Alexa or Google) is helpful under the right cases. We use them for our smart home, as intercoms, as well as for timers/alarms/reminders. Great for playing music, but lack as tv speakers. You gotta really want them for more than one to make sense.
