First of all to all it’s so sad that most people don’t appreciate good sound quality when I see reviews comparing these speakers to Amazon Echo or Google Home (except the Google Max) it makes me cringe, I can’t even sample a song A song in any those it’s comparing apples and oranges I can’t believe people listen to music in those things... I know cause I also have the Google Home. Now these: single or stereo create IMHO the best soundstage of any bookshelf speaker “smart or not “ under $500. Even at $350 ea ($700 pair) you won’t find anything better or even close for under $1000 and most likely you will have to add a subwoofer just to replicate the bass tonality these HomePod are capable of producing. I bought a pair on sale for $200 ea ($400 pair) To me that was a steal, a no brainer. And yes I’m aware of the lack of Bluetooth accessibility and the only Apple Music could be play using Siri, but you could AirPlay anything else and there’s no difference in sound quality in fact that’s the way I usually use these. My advice if you’re inclined to buy these and you see them on sale for less than retail just snatch them you won’t regret it ;)

Little speaker with amazing sound , easy set up and good addition to apple home kit

Amazing sound, perfect size. Not as versatile as Amazon’s Alexa but wonderful if you are a part of Apples ecosystem

Great addition especially if you’re part of the apple echo system. Has nice bass to it and sounds amazing.

Very very nice. Very compact and looks great. Delivers 360 sound unlike Sonos and Google Max which are the only speakers that can come close to the sound quality. It picks up Hey Siri very well. I am 100% entrenched in the Apple ecosystem so I have Apple Music, etc... I do wish you could adjust the sound settings. The bass can be a little heavy at times. Overall very nice speaker.

Works pretty good sounds great and doesn’t take a lot of room. Might get another one for another room.

Super easy to set up. Dependable. Makes for a great speaker. Let’s be real though. This is an Amazon speaker competitor, and in my opinion, Alexa works better than Siri. I have many Apple products that I enjoy outside of Siri. This, I use only for a Level lock that requires HomeKit to be used over the internet. For this purpose, it works great. As an Amazon competitor, it’s too pricey. One star gone for price. 4 stars total, because of the HomeKit value.

I bought this to connect all of my smart gadgets but have been having a few issues connecting it as a hub. I do love how crisp and clear the sound is. I hear it clearly anywhere in my home.

Good sound quality and smaller design makes it easy to put around the house. Was able to pair them which is nice.

Having had the bigger HomePod I’ll say this one is very comparable to it. Great sound for such a small size.

The sound quality is great and it goes pretty loud for its size. It works great for day to day casual listening.

we have a couple of HomePods in our family room and they are a little too expensive to put in the bedrooms so we purchased a couple of these. now we can ask Siri the weather, news and whatever else we need while in our bedrooms. these minis also let me know the temperature and humidity in each room also.

I wanted to absolutely love this speaker. I am in love with the sound. The bass is good and it is extremely loud. However, the lack of Spotify support is what really drags this speaker down for me. You are able to play Spotify over AirPlay but I would really love to use voice controls to play my playlists. If Apple incorporates Spotify support this would be the best smart speaker on the market. If you have Apple Music I would 100% advise you to get this speaker.

So much better than the echo dots or smaller google speakers. Great sound quality and design for the size.

Easy to use fantastic sound quality easy to set up

Apple Perfection- Network Connectivity is outstanding...never a drop. Voice response is also outstanding ... you can speak normally ... don’t have to shout. Great sound for bedrooms, bathrooms and small areas. Stereo pair really shines. The ability to tell it to play music on my Sonos was the real kicker. On a mission to replace all my echo devices...sorry— bye-bye Alexa
