This little thing really blew me away with its quality. I have the original HomePod and wanted this as a companion in another room and I was very surprised with how loud and how great the sound is from it. More that meets the eye, that’s for sure. I’ll definitely be getting a few more for other rooms.

This little speaker puts out a lot of sound. Bought it for my mother as a Christmas present and she loves it. If you live in the Apple ecosystem, this speaker is great, but it only works with Apple devices. You cannot connect to it via bluetooth from other devices since it only uses Airplay. Also, you cannot use voice commands to search/play music from popular apps like Spotify. Siri will only search Apple Music.

I am very happy with the two mini’s that I own. I purchase d a Home Pod several months ago and was unhappy with the extreme bass level of the speaker which tended to rob my music of its musicality. I do not have this issue with my stereo-pair Home Pod mini’s. The sound is clear and well balanced.

Love the yellow color it’s so cute :) I got an open box in excellent condition and it has zero blemishes and works perfect.

I have four of the original HomePods and love them, but wasn’t ready to pay the price for another one so I thought I’d try the mini. I’m not disappointed at all! Great sound quality, and SIRI accurately hears my commands.

It's great having a HomePod mini in the bedroom! Being fully immersed in the Apple ecosystem, I am able to set reminders, control devices using HomeKit, use Siri for setting my alarms, and of course, play audio content quickly and easily. How cool is it to fall asleep to ocean ambient sounds through the HomePod mini?

The new HomePod mini is a great device for Apple users. We have had an original HomePod for a couple of years and wanted to expand the coverage into our kitchen. The sound is amazing for such a small device. Also, it syncs with our other HomePod so now we have music all over the house. Probably will add another soon.

Even though it has less compatibility than Echo or Google's line making it a bit tougher to find smart products, this has amazing sound quality, Siri picks up commands well, and their privacy is way better. Totally worth it whether or not you have other Apple products for that reason in my opinion.

I am a big fan of Apple and what kept me away from buying the HomePod was because of how expensive it was. When Best Buy offered it at $250, I finally gave in. Apple invested a lot into making this a great speaker and it definitely delivers. Music sounds amazing for such a small form factor. Siri works fine for me, and is able to hear me from almost anywhere in my home. Keep in mind, the HomPod isn't for everyone. You really need to be heavily invested with the Apple ecosystem to get the most out of HomePod. And if you're looking for the most advanced virtual assistant, you need to look elsewhere. For my needs, it's perfect. This review is based on the price that I paid for it. At regular price, it's not a good value. For $250 and if you're invested in iTunes, Apple Music, HomeKit, and Apple devices, I would highly recommend the HomePod.

Sounds good but it has no volume to speak of. I have two of these and both are weak. A $40 Alexa Dot outperforms it. My advice to anybody thinking of going into the Apple echo system for home control, use an Apple TV for your base. As far as apple control is concerned use your iPad or use your phone. If you’re expecting any kind of volume out of this thing I would wait until the next model comes out and hope that it’s louder. In my case, it’s too late to return them or I would do so. Don’t get me wrong: they have a very good look to them and are very very well manufactured as is typical with most Apple products. It’s just that this one is not ready for prime time. Especially not at $100 a pop apple, you can do better than this for the money.

The Apple Home automation approach has let us completely rip out our Amazon echo devices because it just works better with networked speakers and our devices ( watches, phones, iPads, etc.). Highly recommend if you're already deep in the Apple ecosystem

It’s a good companion to the Apple ecosystem if you’re into keeping everything the same. Just hate that you can’t use it as a regular Bluetooth speaker for other non apple devices. Good sound but don’t expect HEAVY bass.

Got this HomePod mini to serve as an audio source with my Apple TV 4K and it’s amazing, the sound quality is superb and way better than my built in TV speakers.

I’m very impressed with this speaker. I paired it with my discontinued HomePod and the house is full of sound. I think picking up two of these mini’s and pairing them for stereo sound would be a wise move for a $200 smart theater. If you don’t like this speaker I feel your expectations are too high.

We set this up in the kitchen, I use it mostly to stream Netflix while I’m cooking. I love all the functions and that I can use it to connect to our other HomePod minis to use as an intercom system. I can also call everyone to dinner with texting everyone from it as long as it’s an iPhone. Seriously love this thing.

This product is amazing. The sound fourth size is outstanding and it comes in my favorite color orange you can’t go wrong with any of Apple products especially this one. I got it on sale for $80 for the deal of the day. Cheers.

Just like the homepod, only smaller. Doesn't sound as good but still sounds fine and loud enough for my family to listen to music. if you are already in the Apple sphere, worth getting. We got it to use as an intercom so we can stop yelling at kids upstairs; it is ok for that. Not great but better than yelling.

I would use my $400 gift card to buy 4 more of these.

This HomePod is cool. Its pretty versatile and is subtle enough to blend into the decor. The sound quality is solid for its size, but for the price I expected it to be a bit more robust. Other then that it does offer some cool features for automation and basic interactions as well as fitting in well to the apple eco system. Can be up and ready in 2 minutes.

It produces very good sound and better than I would have expected for it's size. I would have given it 5 stars except for the stereo pairing issues. The process is fairly straight forward but the results where not consistent. Got help from apple but it didn't stay fixed. I've now updated the laptop to macOS 11.3 and my iPhone to 14.5 and it seems to be working stable now. BTW they just came out.
