We purchased this device to use as our hub as we turned our home into a smart apple home. Easy setup, looks great, and performance better than it looks.

Very easy to setup, had to update IOS but thats normal. Classy product Workhorse with 8 speakers and 6 microphones. Beautiful sound quality!

This speaker hits. I have 2 of them and they sound amazing together. I will admit that Siri is absolutely horrible when it comes to 95% of what an assistant should be able to do but if you’re buying this for Siri that’s a problem. I’m starting to get my HomeKit products in order but they are few and far between so Music is the main reason for buying this. For $299 it’s a hard sell with what this speaker isn’t capable of but when bestbuy has it for $199 you can’t go wrong if you are living within the apple ecosystem.

I know it's marketed as a smart speaker, but honestly you spend seconds per day using the smart feature, but hours listening to music. That's where this speaker absolutely impresses. Compared to my Sonos setup, this speaker has greater range, better detail, and plays cleaner at louder levels than Sonos. This coming from an Android phone user. Rest of the family uses iPhones so I do have an Apple Music subscription. I think the Homepod is well worth it.

Great sound. Will definitely buy a second one. Every once in a while it will disconnect from the WiFi and I will have to power off and on. Other than that I have no issues with it.

This is just what we needed. The sound is great! Easy to use, the kids love asking siri to play them songs!

Wow, the sound that comes out of this thing is amazing. It was very easy to setup, had it up and going within minutes.

Got this for Christmas this year to listen to music, ended up setting up a whole smart house. Great sound quality works well with Siri and HomeKit.

The HomePod has an awesome sound. It was super easy to pair with my iPad. I can't wait to add more accessories so I can get the full use of the HomePod.

Sleek crisp sounds and has a lot of bass for a small speaker. Blends in nice with existing surroundings. Works great with Siri and Apple HomeKit products.

This speaker sounds really good. I don't use a ton of the home automation features, but I can fill a relatively large set of rooms with decent sound using only one device. I also have a Sonos One in another room, and this does sound much fuller. I'll admit, I don't use any of the home automation features. I mostly play music using AirPlay2 from my iPhone. Hoping to add an Airport Express or AppleTV so I can push AirPlay2 audio to my tv/surround sound system at the same time for parties. Much cheaper than trying to retrofit my house for in ceiling speakers etc.

Really awesome sound for the size. Apple did a great job with the range. I still believe the price point is too high, which is why I give it 4 stars. Otherwise, I use it daily and am happy with it.

Oh, man! Knew I'd like this speaker just off the sound quality alone but wow. I'd been wanting one since it was released but didn't want to dish out so much for it, but once they discontinued it I had to finally pull the trigger. I know I'm in the minority about caring for sound quality in an era where people only care about their little playlists and streaming services and not albums and music libraries but if you're in the latter, this is for you. I want another.

Excellent item. Audio is crystal clear and Siri responds in a flash. Easy to set up. Not a day goes by when I’m not using it.

I very much enjoy the sound on the HomePods. I own four of them and with the ability to sync them together, the sound is amazing. The limitations with the HomePod are centered around Apple’s Artifical Intelligence feature, Siri, which in this instance is an oxymoron for AI. I have an Amazon Alexa product, and this is much more intuitive than Siri. Bottom line, if you are looking for a very nice, compact, portable sound system, HomePod will work. If you are looking for more intuitive exchange, this may not be for you.

Almost impossible to buy anymore but by far one of the best speakers I've ever owned. Especially if you put it in stereo with another HomePod. I am nervous that at some point the hardware will fail though because I've seen plenty of stories of that happening and then you're left with no recourse because it typically happens out of warranty but still absolutely love this speaker and wish Apple would bring it back.

This is the 3rd HomePod in my setup and I just love the capabilities. The sound quality is amazing and the installation is dead simple.

I now have four of these units, paired for stereo. They are amazing, particularly their bass. They are equipped with Siri, which I find to be the "dumbest" smart assistant compared to Alexa and Google; she often misunderstands my song requests, and sometimes mistakenly responds when I am talking to my iPhone, but I'm sure she will learn with time. In the meantime, I am enjoying my Apple playlists much more (and much more often) thanks to HomePod. I think HomePod has been something of an orphan in the Apple product line, so I am very glad to see the addition of the new "mini" version. This is a promising product, but not yet perfect.

This thing is awesome and handy with my smart plugs. I listen to music in the mornings and have Siri turn my stuff off and on. The sound is awesome.

Purchased a HomePod for Christmas and have been very pleased with the ease of use, connectivity with my iPhone and most of all, sound quality. Recent update to 13.4 has improved both sound and Siri.
