I was a little skeptical of its sound quality vs it’s size but it’s ability to fill a small and even a medium size room is crazy. Siri always hears me even at max volume and with the shortcuts I created in conjunction with my other HomeKit devices, I feel like I’m right at precipice of a total smart home.

Originally when the Apple HomePod came out I didn’t feel the need to purchase it considering the price and what I heard was a lack of smart features. I just decided to give it a try and really wish I didn’t wait so long. The sound quality is phenomenal and it integrates perfectly with my other Apple products. If you have an iPhone, iPad or Mac this is a great complement to those devices and the Apple ecosystem overall.

I was skeptical about buying this because it’s pretty small, but it’s SO loud and has great bass!

We have been adding things to our HomeKit now for the past year, and were told that this is little better than a good music device. Totally WRONG! Siri can do anything that you can do with HomeKit darn near, you can still get weather, all the daily headlines. If you are looking for bodily noises... you'll still need an Alexa. By the way the adaptive sound it has totally rocks!

I now have three HomePods, and it really makes a difference in how frequently I use them. When I only had one, it was something I used while cooking or eating. Now that I have them in the living room and master bathroom, I can pretty much go my entire morning listening to the same album or playlist from room to room. Having AppleMusic makes a huge difference in ease of use, but it's not mandatory.

I’m a die hard Apple guy and have been since the beginning. I feel this is one of the first products pushed out to soon. I give if 5 stars for sounds and usability for one person in the house hold. I give it 1 star for using it in a family home. I knew the issue before buying but I think this is a simple programming fix that they should have handled before release. You can not use family share with the HomePod. Only the person that setup home kit has control of the HomePod.

I believe this small speaker is probably the best-sounding wireless smart speaker available, and you can also control it by voice using Apple's virtual assistant on your phone or speaking to the speaker itself, via Siri. PLease consider using HomePod if you're an iPhone owner and a subscriber to Apple Music, works great and sound amazing.

I was really apprehensive to get this as id read reviews about the 'no so smart speaker' I LOVE THIS!! its perfect for the person who doesn't want something always listening - with Apples new emphasis on security I feel assured that this is the speaker for me. I wish id got more than one. THE SOUND the sound is amazing - probably one if the best speakers I've ever had.

Purchased two Apple Homepods and pair them up as stereo. Great sound and base!

The base isn’t pointed at the ground! It blasts the base into the air and it feels like it fills the space around you with your music! Also, when I leave my room and shut the door, I can barely hear it outside the room. I went downstairs and there was no thumping on the ceiling where most base subwoofers tend to launch the base. I can blast my music and not bother anyone!

I love my HomePod I purchase this one first and then I went back to Best Buy and purchased the gray Apple HomePod 199 a piece on sale on Black Friday. I pair them together and they sound awesome. Then I separated them and they still sound awesome they make my life so much easier I have a couple of smart home products that I have initiated with them I would definitely recommend the Apple HomePod.

The A8 chip is fantastic. It picks up your voice from any room. The speaker quality is great. Only negative is it has a cord and must stay in one place .

I have a <$200 sound bar and wanted to make the sound better. After a lot of research, I decided to add HomePod. The results are better than I expected. Using th Apple TV to sync the sound bar and HomePod results in very realistic sound quality. At $200 from Bestbuy, it is the best value at my house this Christmas. Sounds better with music or movies than a friend’s high end Home theater system.
