“Siri, set chicken timer for 15 minutes” Not for everyone, but this is my second HomePod and the stereo link sound has been great. Full room sound. Controlling HomeKit is easier since it can hear me wherever I am in the room. The only thing is I wish we could lower the bass, since we live in a condo. Siri requires some learning curve too. All in all happy with my purchase!

I’m really impressed with the sound quality of the HomePod and I think an excellent deal when on sale at $199 *if* you are in the Apple ecosystem like I am. I only wish it had a line out and other connectivity options. It’s sole purpose in my home is to play music so I don’t use the smart speaker functions often as I have an Echo Dot sitting right next to it for that.

When I first brought it home and started it up it was real finicky wasn’t able to answer many questions or controlling any of my home devices. But after just a few weeks that speaker continues to amaze me. I could not be any happier right now! As a matter of fact I’ve enjoyed it so much I went and bought one for the front of my house. Now everybody is treated to the glorious sounds of the Apple HomePod.

This speaker is loud and plays outside even my whole yard! Great summer fun only wish it was wireless that would make it perfect!

I got my first HomePod 2 years ago and I was blown away by the amazing sound quality. Then Apple announced that they we’re discontinuing it and decided to buy another one to pair them for stereo. And my oh my amazing to say the least. By far better sound quality than the small ones 100%. Very happy to have gotten it before they were all gone.

Have two of them in our house now and as an Apple Homekit connected family, the HomePod is a natural fit. Easy to set up with the Home app, and with the microphones built-in, using Siri is a breeze. Multiple user support for Siri is critical, and we use it every day from weather questions to alarms and timers.

I now many bash the HomePod for being the dumbest of the smart speakers. I don't use a speaker to order food, products etc. I'm looking for the best sound and easy of use when across the room. For this its perfect, with my mix of pipe organ music and Grateful Dead mix its low end adds to the enjoyment of the music others just don't provide. For me highly recommended

Got this for our kitchen and paired with my wife’s iPhone with Apple Music. The kids ask Siri to play Disney songs and voila, music! Great sound, content accessible even when a phone isn’t around, useful for adding reminders, calendar events and kitchen timers hands free. My only annoyance was the long cord. Initially I wrapped it around the base, but then built a hollow base that the extra cord could be stored in.

This product was super convenient for me because I am an Apple Music user, was looking for great sound quality, and some basic smart speaker features. If you would rather have better smart speaker features, I would look elsewhere. However, I love this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great speaker.
