Works throughout home, utilizes Siri and can accept different voices for commands. Works fluently with accessories but the white gets dirty.

A lot of critics have said negative things about the HomePod as a personal assistant, but if you have an iPhone and are looking for a good home speaker, this thing is awesome. It fills the room with amazing sound, and has access to the 50 million songs in Apple Music. We are very pleased with our purchase! It easily syncs with the 4 iPhones in our family. We have it in the kitchen and love it.

This HomePod has absolutely outstanding sound and one must remember it was the sole focus of creating this magnificent technology. One must also remember that if that same person buys this and starts comparing it to other devices that play music and perform basic hands free chores...they will be disappointed. This one works as advertised, for music, and sounds perfect.

With the latest OS.13.3 you can control all your apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch 5 and Apple computers) and the integration of HomePod. I can control my home from my Apple Watch 5 virtually from anywhere in the world. The sound is amazing and the response is much faster than Alexa.

Very fun thing to have if you can handle the fact that it can even hear you whispering behind closed doors in another room. Great sound. Can amplify your home theater situation (if you don’t have a real one), empower your Apple devices, and do many cool tricks. I can use it with my PC too with a third party software called AirParrot!

This is our 3rd HomePod!! 2 in the dining room and 1 in the bedroom.. absolutely love the surround sound of it. And with the new handoff mode and siri knowing who’s who.. the HomePod isn’t locked to just one account anymore!! May buy more in the future! Thanks Apple for another great product

Too bad these got discontinued. These are the best sounding streaming speaker made today, bar none. Apple needs to find a way to bring a version of these back to market. Wish I had a dozen of them all around my house. With two Apple TV's, I'd even use these for home theater purposes. They're that good.

I would recommend one or two of these in any home for ease of use and great sound.

I bought two of these speakers as I am an Apple enthusiast generally. The fidelity and sound quality is OK but, they sit side by side with some Genelec 5" monitors, which are much more transparent and clear than the HomePods. The integration is a bit buggy and the voice recognition is also buggy. I have been in the middle of an important conversation and they HomePods start talking back. I am generally happy with them but I expected higher fidelity, but I am comparing them to professional monitors costing twice as much.

Purchased because Apple is d/c'ing and there will be no more. Intent is to pair with existing unit for stereo sound. HomePod is clearly superior to all competitive units in terms of sound quality; however, the technology resulted in a price point that was too high for the market, where Google and Amazon are using their units as loss leaders for other marketing objectives (e.g., Prime Membership, acquiring consumer/personal data).

picked up two on sale (solid price from BB). paired them up as a stereo pair and listen to music standalone, provides excellent sound with significant bass when used with Apple TV 4K. Siri serves my limited smart assistant needs but can see why not up to snuff for some. Wish they enabled the bluetooth connection and also wish there was an AUX in.

Loving this speaker. Caught it at the 199.99 pricepoint and finally gave in. There are issues with the lack of questions that can be answered by siri and the handoff feature is not yet seamless, but other than that this is legit, especially if you are a part of the ecosystem. Wireless would be great as well. I also own the jbl link 20 and would at this point prefer this speaker. I will re-emphasize that the functionality still needs work and this is very apple ecosystem friendly.
