Good sound and portability. I also have the Sonos 5 so the Homepod doesn't meet that standard. I'm not sure it's apples to apples though as the Homepod is clearly a smaller design and the variance is power and bass (in Sonos play5 favor) which should adjust based on size. Main difference is my wife can connect to the Homepod from her iphone and we can move it around the house fairly easily.

Get two of these + an Apple TV and your home theater will never be the same! Use one remote to control volume, tv and everything else! It’s my perfect home theater set up and I’m so excited to have it now. Especially with Dolby atmos activated having 2 of them together.

The HomePod is the best-sounding music speaker I have ever owned. They are custom-built for music, and proves that Apple is still the king of technology. I highly recommend that you buy a second one so you can listen to your music in stereo. The sound will blow your mind.

Works great, a little complicated getting it configured with my iPhone and my apple TV, but as long as you have good internet and insure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi, you'll enjoy your HomePod. I highly recommend this purchase in addition to the 4K Apple TV.

Sounds fantastic, the whole family is listening to music more. We already had Apple Music for the family on mobile devices so it made sense for us but, like most review articles say, if you don't have or don't want to get Apple Music, this might not be the best solution. The sound quality sure does provide a reason to get Apple Music.

This speaker packs a great punch. I’m into automation and this is the King. Pairing is very simple, great features and helps maintain that decor I’m looking for. After seeing other have this and tons of views on social media, I had to make the leap. No buyers remorse here.

The HomePod (buy two) connected to an Apple TV completely changes the audio-viewing experience. Very impressive and completely immersive. Pricey but certainly, for me, well worth the money. Add stale popcorn and you will think that you are at the finest of movie theaters.

HomePods are good speakers. They’re very useful for music, Siri requests etc.

The sound quality is absolutely amazing. I wish it wasn't so expensive but the beautiful quality of the music and low, mid and high ranges definitely sets this speaker apart from others. I replaced my Echo and glad I did.

I’m impressed by the sound quality of the HomePod. It does well in large spaces. However, every once in a while, it will stop playing. I mostly use my iPhone to control the HomePod, and in these cases my iPhone will still show it as playing. It’s rather annoying this happens with two devices that are designed to work with each other, especially when they have been on the market for a while.

I didn't have high hopes for this. When they demo it in the store, it always "sounds" amazing. But then you get home and its not quite the same. But I was super impressed how good it sounds. Very clear and high quality sound from it, for just 1 speaker. Couldn't really tell the difference between this and my stereo system.

Sounds nice crisp nice looking not to big or bulky

I waited 2 years to buy this speaker because I own a Bose SoundLink and a Bose Mini and could not justify buying another speaker. When Apple lowered the price that was all the justification I needed. This HomePod speaker out performs both of my Bose speakers. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

The Apple HomePod is the sleeper item that Apple sells after hearing the audio acoustics coming from such a small speaker it is really impressive it seems that small is the new normal thinking about the HomePod Microsoft Surface Duo and many future products going in that direction

Awesome sound. stereo as a pair. Wish it was cheaper

Decided to pick up a third unit and created a stereo pair with two. The white looks nice (first two are black). Fills the house with clear audio and a good bit of base. Improvements to Siri has been a snails pace, had HomePod since it launched, but there have been some decent incremental updates lately.

Bought this for my brother as a birthday present and he loves it. We set it up together which was really easy and took less than a minute. THE SOUND QUALITY IS AMAZING!! Definitely going to buy one for myself as well. Highly recommend, especially for people in the Apple ecosystem.
