This is a great sounding device for Apple Products only. No usb or blue tooth, but it works very well. I got it on sale. I would not pay the full price. Siri has it limitations but does everything I need. I love how sensitive the mic are. I can control by voice just about any where. Siri responds to my commands.

I have 2 and have them set up in the home app so I can use them as my surround sound for my Apple TV! Never thought I would say that but I got rid of wires and other devices for a more clean look. I love HomePod and the sound is great! Not to mention it can control my ecobee thermostat and my August door lock.

As per most Apple products this one has great sound quality which is what I care most about... the digital assistant is a work in progress but it will continue to improve... the sound quality is what is important because that can’t be improved with updates ... I would recommend it to friends and I will probably buy another...

The speaker has great, great sound for its size (not too big). The bass bumps. Awesome sound quality. Having said that, the software interface is incomplete. It disconnects when it wants. If I’m playing Apple Music, and move to YouTube, the audio does not follow, meaning the speaker will continue to play Apple Music while my iPhone plays YouTube. Sometimes the volume control button on the iPhone doesn’t control the speaker, it controls the iPhone volume. You have to go into the app that is playing music for the volume to work. Having said that, I will keep the speaker. It went on sale for $200, so it’s almost worth the price. I would say that, as it’s released right now, that the speaker is worth $150. I hope that Apple fixes the interface, the iPhone communication, and the overall sound connectivity between applications. It is do able. Again, the hardware is there, and I give it 10/10 based on the hardware alone. But the software interface/connectivity, and the high price tag, drops it to 3/5. I don’t use the smart features (Siri) so won’t comment on that.

This Home Pod exceeded my expectations completely, if one didn't know any better they would think I had a home theatre system installed in my house, I could compare it to a Bose! don't listen to all of the negative reviews on these until you have tried one for yourself! this is simply amazing and I love it!

I started with the Home pod Mini. Liked it so much I bought its big brother. Sound is incredible. It's too bad apple doesn't allow it to work with more music services. I use it primarily to play my iTunes library so it works great for me. Wait to get it on sale.

I am very impressed with the sound quality of this speaker. Best I’ve heard out of comparable devices. Siri could definitely use a revamp to compete with Alexa and Cortana, but the smart functions for playing music work well. I haven’t connected any other smart home devices so I can’t speak to the performance of these options.

Excellent for small rooms. Excellent for medium sized rooms. Not so great in large rooms. The base begins to fade out in larger room until you're within a large couch range speaker. Pairing this with a second speaker takes this from 5 stars to a million stars. Siri is not that great comparatively speaking, but it works well with the apple ecosystem.

The Apple HomePod provides great sound quality and works well for sending iMessages verbally if your iPhone is connected to it via the Home app. I will admit that the HomePod does not offer as many features as the Amazon or Google products, but that is what our iPhones are for.

I have several of these as they tend to become habit forming after owning just one. The sound it excellent, the style it minimalistic and excellent and the functions are ever improving. Those great things being noted, Siri as a digital AI needs improvement as she tends to blunder more often than she ought.

Excellent Speaker and Sound, but in terms of intelligent assistance lags behind Amazon and Google. If you’re already into the Apple ecosystem and you are more inclined into sound than AI this is your best option. Also Siri will eventually get better with time as more updates keep coming from Apple in the future.

Setup is super easy on a new unit; not sure about open box items. Great sound will please almost any audiophile. Not cheap, but which Apple products are? Other Siri features still could be improved, but you can’t beat the sound in a unit of this size.

I really love the HomePod.. especially when combined with Apple Music and Apple News / Podcasts / etc... the sound quality is LEAGUES better than my Echo / Alexa unit has. It's not even a competition. And Apple is less creepy about privacy than Amazon.

Would recommend over any other comparable speaker. Very good bass from the speaker and very good separation of bass from miss and treble. This speaker can fill a large room or small room and sound amazing in either situation!

Bought this for my wife for Christmas. She really likes it. The sound is outstanding, and the Siri functionality is really nice. You don’t have to shout to activate, just normal, conversational tone and it responds well. Fills the room with sound nicely.

We have five HomePods throughout our condo. They work great for Hey Siri commands to our HomeKit network to control our lights, fans, and thermostat. They sound great and it’s awesome to be able to play our selections from Apple Music to individual rooms or to all speakers simultaneously. Highly Recommend!

Apple’s HomePod has easily become King of the Smart speakers with its studio quality sound. But its speed of response when executing home automation leave Alexa and Google gasping for air. And buying Apple means your privacy and security are guaranteed.

In my opinion, YES. The sound quality in my own experience was way better than my Sono One with Alexa. I had both in same room and went back and forth and HomePod really was top notch. Not to mention that I believe Apple music is way better than Amazon. I just ordered my 5th one today and could not be happier!!

It is true what most have said. Unbelievable sound comes from these puppies. I bought this to create a pair. connected them to my Samsung TV to enhance the sound like you cannot imagine. I have a powered amplifier from Yamaha but prefer the sound from these.

Loud, good quality (build and sound), Siri integration is 3/5 but there, and looks really nice. Get for music playing but not smart features (have not tested home kit with it). A bit expensive, but enjoy the Apple Music integration (that adds a lot of value).
