I purchased this adapter because I travel almost every week and TV offerings in hotels these days are extremely weak. I take the adapter along with an HDMI cable in my luggage everywhere I go and now have access to my movies and subscription TV services. All I do is plug the HDMI cable to a TV, set the TV to HDMI, plug the other end of the HDMI cable to the adapter and plug the adapter to my iPad Air and the iPad does the rest. The adapter also has a slot for the lightning power cable so that it charges the iPad while in use. Absolutely awesome!

I purchased this adapter for use in my personal business. Utilizing the HDMI connectivity feature to my Apple devices was a big driver in my decision to purchase. I was not disappointed. Sound, video, etc. came through with amazing clarity. And the convenience of not having to pack around a laptop for presentations is an added bonus. Now I just run them via my phone or iPad. Highly recommend for anyone, personal or business, who needs this type of connectivity!

I picked this up to watch movies from my iPhone 5 connected to a hotel TV while traveling for business using a 25" HDMI cable. It worked great for everything I had on my iPhone except HBO GO. The HBO GO will not send the video from a iPhone 5 to the TV. Outside of that, it worked perfectly for everything else. The $49.99 price is way too much.

I had bought one when I bought my iPod touch back in 2021. I didn’t use it much then but I use it a lot more now. My dog had gotten a diagnosis of cancer and I wanted to spend more time with him and take care of his extra needs before he passed. Since I can’t find much on tv that I like I would plug the iPod touch into the tv and watch things I do love! I decided to buy another one just in case something happens to the first one.

Perfect to use to easily hook my iphone/ipad to my HDMI TV (with additional HDMI cable) and show whatever I want on the big screen. I use it to show videos to our church Life Group for discussion in our home meetings. Perfect!

Would not recommend !! Maybe I’m doin something wrong but 2 different employees at 2 different locations told Me exactly how to use it but still don’t work. Oh well..

Used it with my ipad mini and it worked flawlessly. Only gripe I have is that its $50. Luckily I had enough certs saved up so it only ended up costing me $29. I highly recommend it but be ready to shell out some money for this little cable.

This is my second Best Buy Lightning Digital A/V Adapter. My first one lasted about 2 years with moderate use. Originally this was lightly used to connect my iPhone to a television for training on apps. Later, it got more use as a connector cable for my Elgato capture card, to record iPhone gaming sessions. While it worked, it was aces! Plug and play, no problems. For the last month or so, I've been getting intermittent "no signal found" errors.Sometimes, I could wiggle the cable to get a signal, until the day I couldn't. I swapped out the HDMI cable, and checked it on two other devices, but no go. My $65 adapter was dead. I'm buying an exact replacement because it's on sale, and I have some BB Certificates, and I know it works. In researching some off-brand alternatives, while they were cheaper, the non-Apple products seemed to have some severe use limitations. I am disappointed that the adapter doesn't last as long as I'd expect from a $40-$60 Apple product that doesn't get that much use or handling (My Apple earbuds, for example, still work. My Apple charging cable still works - both get everyday handling, )

This is. Very reliable adapter. I use this to connect my iPad to a cable for screen mirroring so I can watch news or show on my tv screen. So far so good.

Works great. Love that I can charge my phone while using it too.

Of all things, got this to watch the superbowl. Good thing it was a bad game. This lasted all of about 45 minutes and it quit. Lousy product.

It is a really good thing to have. You can play videos from your iPhone or iPad. Screen ration on iPad is different than on TVs, so make sure you adjust it. It is very easy - screen format/size on ur remote.

I use this adapter for my iPad when I want to stream movies in my hotel room. It works perfectly. I just plug it into my iPad and then plug an HDMI cable into the TV. You may get some pixelation if the wifi signal is slow, but it is more than adequate if you're traveling and just can't miss that next Disney+ release.

Bought this as a cheaper alternative to the Apple TV. Did not connect at all. Tried with multiple HDMI cables. Ended up returning it.
