Very easy to use. Works great and very convenient!!!

Great product. Works amazing on non smart tv’s. Simply just plug your phone to the adapter and the hdmi cable from the tv to adapter and whatever movie app etc.. you have on the phone, appears on the tv screen.

Using this adapter allows me to snap a photo with my iPhone and project it to my tv monitor. I can enlarge the photo as needed for detail instead of using a magnifying glass. Of course I can use it to watch videos as well

Wanted to watch movies on a big movie screen so we needed a lightening adapter from ipad with HDMI and then another cable HDMI to VGA to an older projector and this worked great but no audio/sound so we hooked up our bluetooth speaker for sound. Everythng worked great. The only thing I wish is that there was an adapter with audio.

So this thing is simple and easy to use, BUT the complications come when you are running through Cat-5 / Cat -6 Extenders / Baluns AND/OR running through AV receivers with their own scaling processors. Now you've got a game of find the handshake and that can take a while. If you're going straight to a TV, you should have zero issues.

Great lightweight, easy to use adapter. Used this to connect my iPad to TV and works with ease every time.

Definitely a nice to have. Came in handy while staying at a VRBO with an older tv, we could get all our entertainment needs from hooking up an ipad/iphone. At $50 it is a little steep, but was able to get on sale at $35 - worth it at that price point.

With the headphone jack gone, we all know the struggle that is listening to something while charging...it just isn't going to happen. But, this is, and has been, a saving grace for Apple in that you can plug and HDMI cord and a lightening cord in at the same time. Works like a charm from the van, to projectors, and everything in between.

This cable does everything it says it will do very well. A little pricey but performance is good.

I'm extremely happy with this as it allows me to use the power plug and connect to HDMI so I can display my phone on the TV to share videos and pictures with family and friends. It does exactly the job that I expected it to do.

A must for travel in hotels that let you HDMI your ipad or laptop and watch Prime Video or see your photos or anything to get off main stream media regular tv!! We keep two so in case one goes bad it doesn't mess up the whole vacation.

Needed to have the ability to use HDMI on an older model TV. This did the job. Would have given it 5 stars but the cord length could be longer.

Other, non Apple branded adapters would not allow me to stream popular streaming apps from my iPhone to my projector. This one WORKS! Ive always been one to save a few bucks, but this is worth the extra $$

This item is a must if you have your iPhone and you are Traveling you can connect it to your tv and instantly have access to all you movies, series, etc. So forget having to grab your phone and try to see a movie. If you have kids you can play they favorite streaming series, they will be delighted.

Got this to play movies and tv shows off my phone while traveling. Just bring this and an hdmi cable and you're set. Much better than other cables too, from what I've seen on amazon some cables aren't able to play Netflix. Probably has something to do with copywrite laws, but this one works with every streaming service available.

Works for my use case. connected my iPhone to a Blackmagic switcher using the Blackmagic Camera App

Product works flawless! Bought it so my kiddos could play on their phone and we can watch on our tv. There’s no lag at all, picture looks perfect on tv, absolutely no complaints at all! I do wish, however, Apple would have made it at least a few inches longer! Recently purchased a 15 fr HDMI cord so that my son can play and not be right in front of the tv. So just keep that in mind but aside from that it is absolutely perfect.

Excellent quality. Used it for playing videos from Ipad/Iphone to the screen in our van. Note that it needs a separate power cable - This unit plugs into the phone/tablet, and the power cable plugs into this unit.
