I purchased this to stream on my projector. Works well!! I originally purchased a different and off of Amazon and it was a mess!! It was cheaper but this Apple product is worth it! Would recommend. Makes streaming much easier from your phone.

Works well but doesn’t ALWAYS work well. I have owned a few of these and they are great in a pinch but are not universal. All 3 I’ve owned I bought when I was on extended stays in hotels and wanted to stream content from my iPhone or iPad to the hotel room TV via an HDMI cable. The problem is it doesn’t always work. I purchased this specific dongle for a trip where I wanted stream my NFLX to the hotel’s LCD TV and it simply would not push anything to the TV. I tried ALL possible sources from my iPhone (NFLX, AMZN, HULU, XFIN) across both my cellular and the hotel WiFi’s network and nothing would transfer. I tried all of the HDMI inputs on my TV and on my co-traveler’s TV. I also know transmission rate wasn’t a problem because I bought a new HDMI cable that would support 4k transmission. It had to be an issue with the TV and the source apps not shaking hands but I guess if you pay more for an apple dongle than you do for your hotel room it’s possible I was setup for failure from the start... All of that being said I have had plenty of trips where these have worked perfectly so take it with a grain of salt...but with more and more providers walling off their content and shifting to proprietary hardware to stream their content you can expect to see more of these issues.

Excellent device to enable iPhone, iPad, etc. devices usage with other devices.

Working good we used it for my tv and also for my speaker and phone it’s really useful

I purchased the Digital A/V Adapter so I could watch Netflix and Amazon Prime Video on my TV (not a Smart TV) from my iPad. Works like a charm. The adapter has a lightning port to plug in the charging cord for the iPad, I have used the adapter with and without the charging cord. For me it well worth the price ($50 vs buying a Smart TV).

This provides HDMI and power connections at same time and does a great job of sending streamed video to a TV with available HDMI connection. To get it to work you will need both an HDMI cord, power adapter and USB to lightning wire. Streaming video tends to wear down the internal battery quickly.

I have poor internet connection. So, in order to watch from my phone, I need to mirror the data, in conjunction with streaming. I needed a way to cut down on the amount of information my phone needed to stream and watch. This connection helps with that.

Recently bought a 2015 Honda Civic with the aha feature, and this adapter was being sold additional (with USB and HDMI) for about $100 through the dealer. Through best buy, I was able to get this adapter + HDMI (I already had the iphone USB) for $60. It does its job, and saved me some cash.

This adapter works well and is easy to use. it just seems to be a lot to pay for just an adapter but it works well and is from Apple.

This product works great and allows you to watch things from your phone onto your TV.. But felt that it’s way over priced!!

What else can you expect from apple! When I became aware of the manufacturing cost of an iphone...I was surprised! Good quality, high price!!

Great to have on the go for streaming in hotels or camping on TVs so multiple people can enjoy

Having this adaptor has made it easier to hook up iPad and phone to my TV when I am need of a bigger screen. It's proven to be incredible helpful while stream from smaller devices but want to use the TV volume and screen instead of a smaller device.

This cable does everything it says it will do very well. A little pricey but performance is good.

Need to broadcast an iPhone, iPad or other Apple product to a TV or other projection system? Look no further. Plugs into lightning port and converts to HDMI. You can also plug power into the adapter and run it as well. Just open up your pocket and give your hard earned money to Apple for this little adapter.

Good for my iPhone and my iPad and I can watch my Disney+ on any television or a big screen anywhere I don’t have to go to the expense of buying an Xbox or PS4 or whatever or even spend 179 bucks on the Apple TV I can watch it on my phone right onto my television with this device I love it

Easy hook up works great, works on any tv. No need for cable

Using this adapter allows me to snap a photo with my iPhone and project it to my tv monitor. I can enlarge the photo as needed for detail instead of using a magnifying glass. Of course I can use it to watch videos as well
