This HDMI Apple adapter is very useful for connecting directly to a TV and streaming programs from your cell. It eliminates buffering and provides for a clear picture.

Works as expected as far as getting your iphone or ipad screen on a monitor via a HDMI cord. The only issue I have run into is that it does not fill the 16:9 aspect ratio of an HDTV. There are black bars on the side. When viewing a movie or youtube this is not an issue, but for other apps you will have the black bars on the side.

You can play and charge at the same time, it does what it should. It is more expensive than it should be, but that's Apple for you.

Worked perfect. I needed to stream a live football game at a location the had wireless internet access but no TV cable or Direct TV access. I just plugged it into my phone and used an HDMI cord and then plugged it into the TV. We watched the game from a cabin porch while the kids played around outside.

Was hesitant on purchasing but now so happy I did. not only is it small and easy to store, it’s so simple an older relative with no tech knowledge can simply use it without struggling. (Look at videos they’ve recorded/pictures they’ve taken on a big screen)

This product is easy to use and works great. Thus far, I have no complaints and has worked every single time. I use this with my iPad Pro and iPhone 12 and I have plugged into different monitors and TVs; like I said… easy to use!

Does what it’s supposed to do. Solid. A bit expensive, but you expect that with Apple products.

Great connection if you want to watch shows from your Ipad to your tv or your iphone (5 and above) . Remember that its only for viewing shows/movies/music off your Apple account and it can do a few other things as well. Price is a bit high though for something so fragile . But you know how apple is, The name is whats expensive and not the parts.

It works great. IO8 compatible. Works well on my tv and with my pioneer app radio 3 headunit (car). Although i wish the cable was a lil bit longer

I would give it 5 stars, except for the price. $55 is a little steep for a connector. It works seemlessly, though.

Only a few weeks of use but it has done exactly what I needed it to! My phone appears on my tv and I can charge it at the same time. When a call comes through the screen tells me. Not using my Other devices at all because my phone has unlimited data. Right now I would say BUY THIS.

The product is simple to use, but we bought it to watch the ESPN app. It didn’t work. We could hear what was going on but couldn’t see it. Had someone tell me it was due to the app itself. So make sure you want it for more than just one thing and it will work with it. Otherwise it’s pointless

Workds perfectly to connect my HDMI to my Iphone. Easy to bring along with you because its small to.

Works like a charm. I am able to watch my YouTube and other streaming service I have on my phone through my tv wit this little gadget. I use my phones unlimited data option and I do not have to run up my WiFi gb’s

This thing is perfect for streaming Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime. I like that i don’t have to watch my shows on my small phone screen. I just hook it up to my hdmi and plug it into my phone and it shows up on my tv. It’s a great alternative when you don’t want to go all out in a new smart tv.

Planned to use this for screen mirroring and it works perfectly with my iPad. Kinda acts a little flighty sometimes if you don't start playing whatever you're mirroring first before you plug it in - it'll sometimes get stuck loading but just unplug it, get it loaded and playing and it'll work just fine. Still a very useful device!

This is one of those accessories that should be in everyone's pocket, or backpack. I use it to connect my iPad to a monitor for tradeshow presentations. It allows me to connect to the monitor, while I also run a Firewire cable to a charger for continuous AC input.

I didn't want to like this because of the price but I actually works awesome!! A bit on the pricy side but works with everything

The product seems well built and durable. I have never had any problems with it functionally, but surely there is no need for the over $40 price tag. I don't blame best buy for this. Apple is proud of their products and you can expect to pay premium prices. Apple has a right to be proud of their products in most cases, but this is just an adapter. It's a few wires in a plastic shell. Next time I need one, I'll look for the cheaper knock off. I would still recommend it to a friend, with the caveat that there may be a cheaper option out there.
