I cut the cord with cable and have various options for tv viewing, but wanted the ability to view apps from my iPad and watch on my tv without spending the money on Apple TV. I plugged it in & get HD quality picture and superb sound through my soundbar just like I have a cable box, but I don't. All things considered well worth the money!

Easy way to connect your iPhone/iPad to your tv screen via hdmi. Adapter must be right side up or it may not show on your tv.

This worked perfect for my wife’s New Suburban to allow the rear tvs to play what ever was playing on our phones. We were stumped on what to do and after a couple of other reviews we found this was the right product for us.

I bought this item for my iPhone 6. I had gone many places to find this essential item for my phone and was told a lot of different ways to connect my phone to my tv because I stream a lot of things through my phone and needed to view on my flat screen tv. But the item works perfect and it's just one piece that connects to my tv with the hdmi cable.

I used this to connect my iPhone to my TV in my mini van. I makes it very convenient to be able to just download movies or whatever onto the phone and not have to bring the actual dvds in and out. I also needed an RCA to HDMI converter cable for this to work which we purchased at Radio Shack because Best Buy didn't carry it.

Great adapter for viewing photos, streaming apps and videos on your TV! Great alternative to buying th Apple TV and mirroring your phone. It does glitch and sometimes I have to restart the app and disconnect/reconnect to adjust the picture or the sound. But I will be upgrading to the Apple TV eventually and this just suits me fine in the meantime! You do need your own HDMI cable. I just already had one.

Does exactly what its supposed to do. Pricy, but you get what you pay for. I've seen these on the generic websites (non-Apple), and all are not created equal. I've been disappointed in the past by cheap knockoffs, so I've learned the hard way. Stick with the Apple-branded accessories to get the best warranty, reliability, and support.

This adapter does exactly what it says. Delivers 1080p video to a TV through HDMI. My wife and I use it for Netflix and Prime. Only wish it would come with a remote because we're lazy and don't want to get out of bed to pause a show every time our son wakes up crying in his bed. Price is a bit too much for something like this, but welcome to Apple!

This adapter is very useful!! You can watch movies straight from your iphone or ipad. It works perfectly. Its a bit expensive, but worth it!!

I used this adapter to connect my phone with a projector. It worked great. No complaints. The price tag for it was unnecessary. But I was in a circumstance where i had to have it so I bit the bullet. But it worked with no issues. Feels well made.
