A little pricey but worth it.works great would recommend.

Ease of use is what you expect from Apple. Unfortunately, you'll discover that you can get this device elsewhere for about half of the Apple price. If I'd had a little more time to shop...I would have purchased the less expensive one. This is over-priced.

Works perfectly for my intended use. I had been thinking about buying one and had been looking at prices online which were cheaper than any “Big Box Store” in my area. I stopped at Best Buy to look at something else, while there I figured I would see if they had any. The gentleman helping me was very knowledgeable, easy to talk to but didn’t like that I planned to purchase online and asked where/who I planned to purchase it from. He pulled out his phone to see the online prices then grabbed one off the shelf and asked me to follow him. We ended up at the register where he searched and found the lowest price for a true Apple adapter online then beat that price by $5. I’m not one to hackle or beat someone up on a price but I learned something that day and Best Buy gained a customer for life.

I bought one of the other brands and tried to use it while I was out of town. Unfortunately it didn’t work with anything except for the web browser. None of the apps not even Apple TV which is where all of my purchased movies are. The original Apple actually works!

Bought to use to watch Fox North television on my phone and then cast tp my television at my cabin up north since my television provider does not offer Fox North in our channel line up they do offer but its is another 15.00 dollars on my satellite bill picture is good and I can watch the Twins Wild and T-Wolves

I use this to connect my phone to my projector TV. Works seamlessly. Plug and play. Excellent quality.

It’s much healthier and a joy to be able to watch YouTube videos, virtual concerts on Facebook/instagram and etc. from my iPhone to my TV. This is more cost efficient than buying a smart TV. I can also monitor what my granddaughter is watching on her iPad.

After reviewing the items available that could do the ios to HDMI dance I chose the authentic Apple device. Most of the others had limitations based on special app requirements. This one did not. Certainly there were workarounds but the simplicity of plug and play was worth it to me.

This is great for someone who has lots of traditional version of headphones. It allows you to not only use traditional head phones (with traditional jacks) on the newer iPhone but you can also charge your phone and listen at the same time.

You need to hook up your iPhone, iPod or iPad to a projector or tv? This hdmi adaptive is the way to go.... only (unless you use an appletv). It’s highly recommended that you charge while outputting to an external display of any kind or your device battery will drain quick (with max brightness and volume only available when output thought hdmi). Still this is a good way to put your device on a bigger screen quickly. Go get one

This always comes in handy! If I forget my laptop I can use this to show my PowerPoints from my phone.

Product does exactly what it says on the packet. It has allowed us to hook our ipad mini up to our flatscreen via an HDMI cable. Managed to stream content directly from on demand apps. Main bonus was it was in time for the rugby world cup. So far no problems with the normal fraying of apple cables. Only time will tell though.

Very easy to use easy to hook up a Roads gryijj with the TV where I have no reception at all I could use it for my phone very easily

This device is certainly worth the money. Any app uploaded to your phone can be watched on your TV. , Direct TV, Hulu, Amazon Prime etc. Connect this device to your phone and then use a cable that connects to the device and your HDMI connection on your tv., just try it.

This adapter does a great job in letting me access moves on my phone and show them on my TV.

Read a lot of reviews describing issues with this not working. Personally think it’s folks who aren’t sure how to use the device. Plug in the HDMI cable AND the lightning cable to power the adapter and it worked like a dream. I’ve not tried to push sound but video works great.

The product works great, but as usual per Apple products it is way too expensive just to move the image from my phone/ipad to my TV.

I pretty much use all Apple devices. And this adapter works perfectly for people on the go. No more bringing my streaming devices on vacation. Just this adapter! Not all streaming services work but most of the ones I used do. All I take now is my hdmi, usb cables and my adapter.
