This device is certainly worth the money. Any app uploaded to your phone can be watched on your TV. , Direct TV, Hulu, Amazon Prime etc. Connect this device to your phone and then use a cable that connects to the device and your HDMI connection on your tv., just try it.

Read a lot of reviews describing issues with this not working. Personally think it’s folks who aren’t sure how to use the device. Plug in the HDMI cable AND the lightning cable to power the adapter and it worked like a dream. I’ve not tried to push sound but video works great.

Bought to use to watch Fox North television on my phone and then cast tp my television at my cabin up north since my television provider does not offer Fox North in our channel line up they do offer but its is another 15.00 dollars on my satellite bill picture is good and I can watch the Twins Wild and T-Wolves

I pretty much use all Apple devices. And this adapter works perfectly for people on the go. No more bringing my streaming devices on vacation. Just this adapter! Not all streaming services work but most of the ones I used do. All I take now is my hdmi, usb cables and my adapter.

A little pricey but worth it.works great would recommend.

This product works great and, since it is made by Apple, it works with my iPhone without any trouble. I tried an aftermarket brand and it didn’t work. I just wasted my time. I know Apple is more expensive, but it’s worth it to get a product that works.

I was skeptical at first but I want to stream Netflix from my iPad to the TV in the hotel room when traveling. It works great. Remember to still plug in the charging cable

Got this to hook up my phone to my projector that doesn't have bluetooth or airplay compabilities and it works great! I have an iphone 8 plus and the connection is seamless. I also hooked it up to my monitor and it worked great!

I needed this hdmi connection for a projector to project my image and it works super well but at a cost of 50 bucks !!! Oouucchh Apple always wants my money. Also when connected to my phone it drains the phone of its power so that’s why the power source is there as well. Have fun. Also be carful with it take care of it because it is small and flimsy.

I absolutely love this adapter. It makes everything on my phone more visual on my tv. I can watch shows from apps that are not available on my tv. I can also charge my phone at the same time.

I was a little hesitant to spend the money on an Apple brand product because you tend to pay for the name, but in this case it's worth it. We tried several off-brand alternatives, and none of them worked seamlessly. This product does exactly what it's supposed to do and hasn't caused any issues.

Definitely a must need item to display downloaded Netflix content via HDMI to your tv.

Product is very easy to use...quality is great....

Product does exactly what it says on the packet. It has allowed us to hook our ipad mini up to our flatscreen via an HDMI cable. Managed to stream content directly from on demand apps. Main bonus was it was in time for the rugby world cup. So far no problems with the normal fraying of apple cables. Only time will tell though.

Must have adapter for connecting Apple products to a television. Must use in order to cast premium streaming services to other hardware. Price point is high for what it does but it’s what you come to expect from Apple.

The product works great, but as usual per Apple products it is way too expensive just to move the image from my phone/ipad to my TV.

My daughter told me I needed to get one of these and I am glad I did. Unexpected trip to L48 family members house that had no Cable or Satellite TV and no internet. We were able to hook up my phone and play from my Netflix and DirectTVNow apps. Really helped keep the kids busy. Love it.
