Trying to get streaming on my TV without paying for it. I have unlimited data usage on my cell phone but no internet at home. Trying to be frugal so I had this idea. It's pricey but I had to buy this but it was a one time charge and that's it. I plug it into my phone. The adapter has two outlets on it; one for your charger, and the other hdmi you plug into your tv. I can watch whatever I watch on my phone. I watch Hulu, Netflix, the CW. Whatever is on your screen on your phone appears on your TV. The only drawback is the whole time you're watching tv your phone screen stays on, but, it dims. It's just annoying my phone doesn't get hot.

I bought this HDMI Adapter so that my kids and I could stream a Pay Per View Event from my ipad onto our big TV. The setup was easy and the quality was excellent. Make sure to plug the power charging cable into the adaptor because the ipad will not stream smoothly if not. I also like the fact that it is portable so that we can take it on trip and stream through a hotel tv. Highly recommend.

I bought this adapter to be able to connect my iPhone or iPad to my TV. The adapter allowed me to see whatever I was viewing on my iPad or iPhone on the TV screen as well, which is just what I wanted. I bought it mainly so that I could watch movies from my iPad or iPhone on my TV screen instead and this adapter allowed me to do so with no problem. Just be advised that if you want to purchase this adapter you will also need an HDMI cable. I gave this item 4 out of 5 stars because it is a bit pricey, but overall it is a good product for a good price and it does what it is meant to do. Additionally, the item arrived on time and in brand-new condition.

Great item to have large screen viewing. Like most Apple accessories, its pricey at $50. No real downside and it is usable everywhere. A hdmi cable is required (not included) to use this iter

I dont have a upgraded samsung tv yet, and with this adapter I’m able to connect my phone, and stream, i can watch movies, i love this adapter, i wanted to add how kind my sales person was, she handled everything with so much grace and i appreciate that so much.

I was really pleased with how easy this was to use. Just plug in and play, literally. It also has a port that allows you to charge your phone while in use. I've only given it 4 stars because of the price, but aside from that I was really satisfied with the product. It actually does what it needs to do.

This is exactly what you need, if you are trying to connect your phone with your TV, in your CAR, or trying to do any presentation via your phone at your work. You do need an HDMI cable along with this adapter. This keeps your phone charged while using it to display on the Screen. It seems little expensive, but it's worth spending money on it and does the trick for you that you need to use it for. There are generic ones at amazon for much cheaper price, but they only last a week or so. Apple holds it's quality at best, and best buy supports it to deliver to us. Thanks BestBuy for keeping this on hand.

Works very well. I have a couple of TVs that are not smart but have HDMI ports. I can now watch things that I can get on my phone using the HDMI output to those TVs. One of which is on my treadmill.

Easy to attach using a HDMI. I’ve been buying these for the past 15 years and only get another one if something happens to it. Always a great purchase. Can watch movies, look at pictures and more.

Easy to use apple to HDMI adapter. Really good picture quality. Second port allows for charging while in use so there's no limit to how long you can play the device.

This little device is a work of art! Most smart TV's are equipped with bluetooth so you can cast your device to it but this device lets you go directly via HDMI for a more solid connection. I have an iPod and iPad and they deliver a really good 1080p picture on my TV. If you have photos, videos or movies, this will display exactly what you see to your TV. Really no need for the Apple TV device!!

I use this all the time when I travel with a HDMI cable as most hotels now have flat screen. Even at home, it is much more stable and you don't have glitches from casting to TV. You don't have to worry what apple play with let you cast to the TV. BTW and extra plus that I didn't know until a few months after I got it is that you can charge your phone at the same time with the extra lightning connections next to the HDMI one. Now you don't have to worry your phone dies in middle of a movie

This is one of the coolest things I have purchased lately. I have smart TVs but not all are compatible with Apple. I love to watch Anime with my so. And it was always a haste having to bring down the laptop. With this adapter, all you have to do is plug into your phone and the other end into the HDMI cable and you get everything one your phone on the TV. And as a bonus, you can charge your phone or IPAD at the same time. Awesome!!!

I decided to "cut the cord" and go without home internet or wi-fi. Even though I buy dvds I still stream. This allows me to connect my iPhone to any television with a HDMI port and charge said phone simultaneously if necessary. The beautiful part about it is if you have an Apple Watch you don't have to worry about interrupting what you're watching for calls, texts, or notifications.

Very good! Can connect it to anything that has an hdmi port. The connectivity to it is outstanding and it’s very durable, so if you accidentally drop it or step on it DONT WORRY because it won’t harm it. VERY WELL MADE 20/10 and I recommend buying this if you want to make your life a whole lot easier.

Bought this adapter to primarily use in our car. Our new car came with an entertainment system and an HDMI port. Decided to use this adapter to stream content from the phone to the screen. With this adapter, kids were able to watch Netflix and other content seamlessly. The pass-through lightening port helps keep the device charged. A bit pricey for what it does but didn't want to take chances with aftermarket products. It works by mirroring your phone screen to the big screen thru the HDMI. Looks like we'll be taking this along on all our trips from now on.

Using in my Chevy Suburban to connect iPhone to rear entertainment media consoles. Able to stream the display to screens. Easy to use. Connects into HDMI and lightning port.

Using the Adapter is a breeze. I love using it for watching streaming services like Netflix and Hulu. The only downside is have to stand up to watch the next episode if my device is not nearby. It also great for playing video games from your phone like Fortnite or Asphalt 9 that can use controller. You can also charge your phone while you use the cable, great add on. Would definitely recommend over a cheap cable because they can be less trustworthy or have worse quality.

I finally figured out that you need to turn your lightening device to see the full screen on whatever you are using as a projector screen. In my case, this was my home TV screen. Now I needn’t set up my DVD player, and can just stream to my iPhone. I chose the lightening cable rather than the USB-C cable for my iPad, because I am not likely to use my iPad Pro as a mobile device. I could not have used the USB-C cable on my phone. Too bad there is not an interchangeable A/V adapter for all devices.

I'll first state that this thing is pretty pricey. Sorry Apple, it's true. I'm sure this thing costs much less to manufacture. But if you need a digital video adapter for your iDevice, there's nothing better out there. I'd recommend you baby this device a bit (unfortunately my friend has one and after throwing it around for a year the sleeves started to pull back on the cable) a bit more than you would a regular lightning charger cable as those are much cheaper, but else relatively good quality and build.
