Bought to stream movies from my phone to tv. Extremely easy, works perfect! Price is a bit high

Great HDMI adapter that will stream your iPhone to any television. There is not a loss of quality. The other nice feature is you can charge your phone at the same time as running the adapter. Worth the price.

Exactly what I needed. I bought a portable mini projector and needed a way to stream video from my IPad to projector. I was directed to this adaptor. I decided to get the Apple brand after doing some research. Few NON Apple adaptors had bad review for not working and since this one was on sale for the same price as the others, it was an easy decision. The adaptor worked as advertised.

I got a new car stero put in where i can watch videos on it so I got this to have a direct link rather than screen mirroring and it works great! Videos come out clean and its easy to use while still being able to charge my phone.

Worked like a charm! Some copyrighted material won’t go through to an external monitor with my generic adapter, however this Apple product works with a much broader range of protected media. This makes it worth the extra money. If you’re just using it for more monitor space for office work, maybe the cheaper options work for you. But if your doing commercial video media, get this one.

This adapter is well-made and is very easy to use. Just plug and play. I am using it to easily connect my iphone to my tv to view streaming apps. i just leave it connected to the tv and plug into whenever i want for a low-tech way to make my tv a 'smart' tv. Works best if you plug a lightning connector in to it too to keep the phone charged while you are using it.

Works fantastic for any iPhone using the thunderbolt connection. (In 2023 “old” iPhones) I connect to tvs, projectors and computers monitors using HDMI. Perfect for my needs. Can also be used to charge.

It makes it even easier for our kids to use their iPads for long road trips in the car by linking them to the vehicle entertainment system.

It was really simple and easy to use with my projector. Just plug and play! I also like the fact the adapter has an area to charge my phone as well (or use an AUX adapter). I plugged a speaker into the AUX output on my projector and used the lightning slot on the adapter to keep my phone charged. The charging didn’t interfere with the streaming and worked out really well. Would highly recommend.

Needed it to show videos from my phone onto my television. Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic and No Graduation for the 2020 Grads. I had family, friends and Coaches, etc send my son video congrats, and I combined them all in a video, so he could have that GREAT Memory for the rest of his life, during the most horrific times of our lives. The adapter worked Great and was Easy to work! A bit pricey but worth it.

I originally bought a Chromecast. Returned it for this due to Chromecast's limited functionality. Pro: 1. Price compared to some of the other options 2. Everything on your Apple device to your TV 3. No Wifi needed for the device 4. Easy set up and streaming (especially at hotel) Con: 1. Apple devices only 2. Wired (if you do not like wires) Adapter works perfectly at a hotel and allows you to run all apps. I would recommend this product. Would be great for the traveler with Apple iPad or iPod!

I purchased this for use at hotels whenever me and my fiancé travel, we used it on our last trip and we loved it. Simple plug and play with my iPad Pro 10.5, also worked flawlessly with our iPhone 8 Plus devices as well. Not sure why a lot of people rate this so low I’ve had no issues and I was amazed to see audio and video outputs directly to HDMI with no noticeable difference! If you want to be able to get your iPad/iPhone display into a TV this is the simplest easiest way to do it!

As with all Apple stuff, works seamlessly with the iPhone. Plug & play, nice and easy. Saved a lot of frustration trying to sort out alternative methods of what I needed to do; play movies from phone on a projector.

I had to make a presentation and the only thing I had to use for my PowerPoint was an old lightning iPad. This did exactly what I needed it to do.

Easy set up, can watch Netflix or Prime, much better than the one I bought online. Highly recommend.

Simple. Plug into your 5 or newer iphone and not only will it allow you to charge your phone, it converts signal for use with an HDMI cord

This should be 6 out of 5 stars…. Everyone should own this device…. So our cable AND internet recently went out when the neighbors gardeners hit our cable line…. Took more than a week to figure out. When you have no internet and cable and work from home it’s a horrible experience when your provider doesn’t know what the issue is!!! Then I thought about this device here…. Even though our internet and cable were down we were able to stream directly from our providers app to the smart TV’s…. So we bought 2 of these devices and they worked great!

I am trying to save hundreds of dollars by not having internet or cable using this device with my phone. Picture comes in perfect for Hulu, perfect with downloaded Netflix files but lacks in picture quality with Amazon prime tv for some reason. I can’t fault the device for that though, it has to be more of a software issue. It is pretty pricey but it does get the job done. I can see how useful this would be also if you travel a lot and in hotels.
