always buy Apple dongles to go with Apple equipment - otherwise it wont work!!! Dongle is perfect for the application - get an HDMI output while having a lightning passthough port (charge your device while using the HDMI port). Display and charge - perfection!

This will allow you to show whatever is on the iPad on your TV or projector using an HDMI cable. It does a great job. This is my third, the first I’ve had ever since lightning was introduced and it is still fine.

I like how I can hook my cell phone up to this and watch movies off of it. Can move it from tv to tv. And watch Hulu, hbo, or Disney plus.

i love apple and all apple products. this adapter is no exception. i use it primarily to project Netflix onto my tv. however it has been tremendously beneficial at work to show slide shows and to show demonstrations to a large audience. it works amazingly every time!!

My friend tried an off brand from Amazon that worked only 40% of the time. This adapter works right out of the box like all Apple products. I would give 5 stars except you have to interact with the screen periodically to keep whatever video app you’re using from freezing up. Meaning you won’t be able to switch to other apps unless you hit the power button.
