I guess it pays to buy Apple products even when it comes to accessories. I paid $55 for this, I could've got cheaper alternatives but add to the hassle or returning etc..its best sticking to apple or apple approved products. The cheaper ones will always give you problems.

I needed to connect my iPad to my television so that we can watch shows and movies available through apps. It works just fine! Make sure you have an HDMI cable to connect this adapter to your TV

I can't tell you how many times I bought the wrong cord and ended up finally finding the right cord to connect to my tv. I love watching things on the big screen, especially when I am trying to share it with people in my house.

I bought this adapter because I already have an iPad, wifi, and Hulu/Netflix apps. This was the least expensive way to plug my iPad into my tv and start streaming, rather than go all out and buy an Apple TV or a Roku or something of that nature. The only con is, obviously, can only be used on one tv at a time, so you have to buy multiple ones if other family members want to stream at the same time.

The adapter works as advertised. I wish I would have bought it much sooner. Only downside is the app you are using does know the adapter is being used. Netflix worked fine but Xfinity Stream wouldn’t work because it was plugged in.

Very simple to use to get video from iphone to monitor/tv. I use this product in my Escalade to have Netflix play off the phone on to all 3 of the tvs in the vehicle!

This is is the accessory you need in order to take your small screen to the big screen. I mean it is overpriced but there is not an alternative if you want to plug your phone or iPad into your television. On the contrary the picture it produces is excellent.

We purchased this accessory to connect our Apple devices to an HDMI port on our external projector and Smart TV. Must have for any device that you cannot connect via Bluetooth. Works great!

Tried a few off brands and nothing compares to the apple. Great way to watch movies for the kids in our Yukon while traveling. It also charges your phone while watching which is what really separates it from the knock offs

This is a must for iPhone users to travel with. I can use this device and project my video streaming from my phone to the TV screens in hotel rooms with HDMI instead of inputting my login info.

They make good quality for an overly high price, but it does do what it needs to do!

I have used this adapter to listen to music and watch downloaded movies from my Ipad directly to TV or stereo using HDMI cable. Does require power to work properly (wall charger and cable for Iphone or Ipad) and charges Ipad while using adapter.
