Does exactly what it says: plug into your iPad or iPhone, then connect to a TV with an HDMI cable and you are golden. Most video apps detect it automatically, but if they don't, you can manually switch to it from settings.

This adapter was necessary to get an Apple TV connection on my Toyota Prius and it works very well. I tried a cheap knock off, but the results were much less than stellar. Stick with Apple OEM parts and you should have no trouble.

I need it for presentations, price is high, but it works good.

This was a cool option to connect iPhone to TV. Since I can't get the Spectrum app on my Roku tv, I was able to use the app on my phone and then connect directly to the TV.

It was so easy to set up. I just plugged it into my hdmi cord for my Samsung tv and owalla my iPhone was screen mirroring to my tv. Amazing product. Apple please stay making products like this. Thanks for the assist Best Buy!

I want to use this to broadcast video in my car during the long trip. It works perfect with HDMI-AV cable. That was another converter. Later on, I found that it also works very well to project my phone screen to computer. Great product.

I use this HDMI/Lightning adapter in every hotel I stay in to watch my shows on Hulu, Netflix, and Prime Video. I use it all the time and might buy a second one for family trips when we have two TV’s in our suite.

I used this for my 2016 honda crv with a hdmi cord to watch movies as i drive as well as to connect to honda link so i can mirror my phone for gps. It works great and does what i need it to do.

This device is perfect as you get all the benefits of mirroring your device without a Wi-Fi connection and with the extra lightning port you can charge your device as well. Signal is great and sound works well too.

This works great, my boyfriend can finally watch the Bruins on the TV! There is no TV app for NESN and if you access NESN via the browser on your TV it's awful quality.

I tried 3rd party Lightning to HDMI cables in the past. It's a night and day difference going to the official Apple adapter. The only negative is the price.
