works for me. using on my iPhone 5 SE to cast DTVN streaming tv service to sharp tv, haven't tried Netflix or youtube...tried the cheaper version from eBay, does not work, received refund and purchased this open box, a bit expensive, but it works, I found it online here at BB, fast shipping, packaged well. I can now watch the local news, because I could not get them with my roku,

2 weeks of use so far. It is a very good quality adapter it seems. I don’t notice and dip in quality from your iPhone to your tv, as long as the resolutions are the same. It is easy to plug in and use, the only worry I have is of its life. I will update in the future if it breaks way too quickly.

For someone like me that is technology challenged, this worked out great. I bought it to watch local jr college basketball games that are broadcast on Facebook live. This was the cheapest easiest way to do so. Worked like a charm. I’m able to watch live streaming anything from iPhone to tv. So far I’m loving it. I did have to buy HDMI cable as well to plug into tv and the digital AV adapter.

I bought this item so I could mirror my iPhone 7 to my tv. Specifically, I wanted to view the Nike training app on my tv so I could view the workouts on a larger screen. This accessory is easy to setup...just plug it into an HDMI port on your tv. Then plug your iPhone into the Apple adapter. This is a great product at a great price if you want to mirror your iPhone to your tv for for minor things.

I'm an instructor who teaches American Sign Language. My class was impressed with me that I had the technical knowledge to teach from my iPad. I used the adapter partnered with the HDMI cable to connect to the TV, which then allowed my iPad to become a projector. It was unique and felt proud to have ability to showcase signed videos from YouTube, my syllabus from Microsoft Word docs and other sources. This is a GREAT product to have.

I needed to do a presentation using my iPad Pro. Luckily, my class had an HDMI connection for the projector. Used this with my iPad Pro and everything was good to go. If you're a student and will need to do a presentation, check if your class has an HDMI connector. Then, you can use this with your iPad or iPhone.

I wanted to connect my iPad to my projector via hdmi. The product served the purpose. It works great. No issues at all. I give it 4 stars because I think it's over priced

Sends a 1080p HD signal from your iPhone to your HD TV via HDMI cable. make sure you have a decent HDMI cable from this device to the TV...don't go crazy but not cheap cables from online retailers. Great solution when traveling for vacation.

I didn’t know I needed this until I bought it, I can watch any of my streaming services on any tv now specially if they are not smart tvs

I had purchased something similar a few years ago, but decided to return it because it didn't work the way I wanted it do. I'm so glad I decided to try it out again. My family loves it. So easy to use. I love being able to charge my phone or tablet while using it on my TV. My only complaint is that it isn't long enough. Somebody has to sit right by the TV to use it. Other than that, it is a great product.

Great investment! Has came in handy especially if you don't have smart tv you can plug in anywhere and stream off your phone anything! I love it. Easy to carry for work too doesn’t take space, went on a trip plugged it in to tv hotel and streamed my show.

I wanted a way to watch movies that I had on my ipad and android devices that would come out on my big screen. I went into the best buy by my job and told the guy what I was looking for and what I needed it for. He walked directly to it and said this is all you need. Plug there insert there and play. and it was that easy. easier that the google chrome cast I have. I really enjoy what this device brings to my life.

I purchased this in order to play content from my iPad onto a TV at a family event. Connectivity was a breeze and it worked great. While playing from an iPad onto a device connected to an Apple TV is actually easy, this cable is a necessity for connecting to devices that are either off-network or otherwise are not connected to an Apple TV. This cable stays in my travel bag now.

Second purchase. Unfortunately the kids from unplugging from one tv and connecting to another messed up the first one. That should answer on the ease of use. Not always does cable have what they want to watch and on Family movie nights they usually want to watch those repeats that are no longer readable on DVD. Ehh pricey yes but do recommend.

This works pretty well when you don't have access to a media player like the AppleTV Hardware device when you want to show the video content from your phone on your HDMI enabled screens/Televisions. Allowing you to charge your phone at the same time you are sharing the video contaent is a very useful feature!

Excellent piece of equipment! Works GREAT in hotel rooms. We can watch what we want on the big hotel tv by streaming our favorite programming. No more just watching whatever is on the hotel tv. Love it. I recommend it for anyone who travels any length of time and stays in hotels.
