I had gotten a cheap 'knockoff', but the picture was grainy, even though it said it could do 4k. Replaced with the apple one and sharp, clear picture.

Easiest way to hook up Ipad to tv for Keynote/IMovie via Hdmi , also having power adapter plug to keep charges is nice addition! Couldn't do my in service without these items.

Coupled with an HDMI cable This allowed me to hook up my Wife’s iPad to our Sony TV. Only negative was the price, but that’s Apple for you .....

I use this along with my HMDI cable to connect my iPad to a television to watch Netflix, etc when I travel. Unfortunately, not all hotels have newer Smart televisions

I purchased this so I can connect my phone to our vehicles rear media system for the kids. It’s works perfectly.

It just worked. Needed it to be able to project the screen of my iPhone 6. Simply plugged this in, changed the source on the projector and it worked. Attached an 8 ft hdmi cord to it.

I purchased this device to watch TV apps from my phone. The recent changes for Apple TV stooped me from utilizing that device on my current TV. So this AV adapter was able to help me get back on track.

It's a basic cable - it does exactly what I need it to do: mirror my iPhone screen on my tv. If you use an iPad just keep in mind its aspect ratio is not the same as the tv so you'll see bars on the sides. The only issue is that the Lightning connector is bigger than my phone case. Otherwise, it does its job.
