it is great if you visit families / friends who doesn't have Apple TV and you can hook up to their TV to watch movies or show photos / videos!

After purchasing the after market lighting cable it stopped working after a few months. Purchasing the original Apple cable you won't go wrong.

We can watch all our favorite movies and shows when we are away from home. We use it when we are camping at our campsite. Used it to watch the Nebraska football game last weekend.

Got this to connect various apple equipment to our audio visual equipment at the office - works great. Shipping got messed up by USPS but Best Buy quickly remedied.
