    You can plug it into your phone, or ipad, and use a HDMI cable to your TV & watch Netflix or whatever on the TV instead of watching on a small device.

    Plugged this device right into our HDMI cable and my iPhone. After setting up HDMI input on TV, everything from iPhone appeared on TV monitor with no problem!

    Bought this to view movies stored on my iPad to a TV while visiting away from home. It works well, just a bit on the pricey side. But it's Apple and you pay a premium for good stuff.

    This adapter allows me to watch shows from my phone on the hotel tv. Great way to get Netflix. Be sure to also pack an hdmi cord and your power cord and plug
