I purchased the adapter for streaming Netflix, Hulu, etc. from my iPhone to my television. There's no set up required, you just plug in the HDMI and it instantly mirrors your iPhone or iPad to the television. I didn't buy it for the purpose of presentations, but it would be a great use. As for the picture quality, it's almost impossible to see a difference and there's no lag between. My only issue with this product is that it's almost required to plug in my charger with the adapter, because if the iPhone / iPad screen isn't active then the mirror also goes black. Overall I'm satisfied with this product.

This works pretty good. Some features like FaceTime doesn't work how you would think but still worked out. It does sometimes give you a copyright warning about viewing video on a TV. Not sure how it's different different from playing a DVD on a TV but it always let me do it anyway so it's not really an issue.

This is exactly what we needed to allow our kids to play there phones through the dvd screens in our vehicle. Works perfectly.

Purchased this to use connect a mobile device to our DVD entertainment so the kids to watch TV/Movies from an app on our iPhones during road trips! Works like a charm!

I did not buy the Apple TV I don't scream I down load only and to play protected movies I needed the apple con tigon for my hdmi port on 4K tv and it works great love it

It is an excellent accessory this one is the second adapter, I use one at home and the other in my job. It is a necessary product that you use with your devices.
