I was in need of a connector to conduct a training session using and iPad connected to a projector. This was very simple. Just plug it in and I was up and running.

Even though this is a wired solution it works fairly well for what it is. Of course the price could be a lot cheaper. You could pay an extra $20 and get an AppleTV for a wireless solution.

If you are dealing difficulties connecting, viewing your iPhone / IPad , this is like having an apple TV, with all the advantages.

I had shot some video on my iPhone and wanted to see it on my 4k TV and this did the trick. Very simple to use -just plug it in and you see your iPhone screen on the TV.

This item has made my life a little easier being I travel all the time. Being able to watch my Netflix and Hulu on television through my phone may seem simple but means much to me.

This Apple Lightning A/V Adapter works (4-star rating) with my iPhone 7 and iPad (gen 2). I've used it to connect to a 14-yr old Sony XBR and a 10-yr old Vizio TV. Now the reason for my 1-star rating...I purchased an open box (which was in a cabinet under lock and key) in the store and the adapter was not Apple brand. I didn't realize this until connecting it to my phone and TV and kept receiving a QR Scan Code error. I had purchased this adapter before and didn't remember having to scan a code. When I researched this error on the internet there was one article stating that the adapter was from a 3rd party. When I returned to the store, the employee told me that it was an Apple brand. Fortunately there was another open box and when he compared, he still thought it was an Apple brand. It wasn't until I asked to compare that I indicated that the inside of the plug was different. Also, there was no "Made in California" on the back of it like the other one. The employee finally recognized that someone had switched them. Now I'm a more educated consumer when buying Best Buy Open-box items. Make sure to check out the product first before purchasing since it's already been "opened".

bought this after i purchased my projector and it worked better than expected. its fully compatible and can do and see everything on my phone on my projector. love it

It works great to allow downloaded Netflix and Amazon movies to be brocasted on my TV from my iPad at my cabin, happy camper, :). But from Apple it's what you expect.

Worked well. Buy the Apple brand. Tried a cheaper brand that did not work and had to return. This item works great

Perfect adaptor for my iPhone to hook up to my CRV, so I could take advantage of Honda Link. Purchased the Honda link Navigation app and it displays on the dash monitor

Self explanatory adapter for Apple products, in my case it was to connect an iPhone to a smart TV to watch Netflix or DirectTV on the road in our camper.

I tried buying an adapter since I already had one of these for my ipad but the old style. That didn't work so I went back and got this one. It works as good as the other does. no problems.

It makes it so much easier to be able to display anything on my phone on to my tv. It works very well and is easy to use. Deffinatly worth the money.

I really had my doubts, but this thing worked. Was steaming all kind of stuff from Netflix up onto the hotel Flat screen. Kinda pricey, but with Apple, you have to pay the Apple tax.
