These are really handy if you travel. If you’ve got apps on your phone for different TV or satellite services that you pay for this makes it easy to use an empty HDMI port to stream what you want to watch from your phone when a hotel or rental house doesn’t have the channels you want. The one trip where I forgot this in the cable in my travel bag I was able to run out to Best Buy and grab another one. I’ve even used these to stream DIRECTV to a hotel TV from my phone when I’ve been out of the country.

This makes connecting an iPhone to a TV so easy. Often when I travel I need to connect to a TV that doesn't support casting and this adapter does the trick

It’s small enough to take with you. Working very well and by using your phone (as long as you have unlimited data) it’s cheaper then regular tv
