I love, love, love this adapter!!! I use it all the time to connect my iPad to my TV & play videos through it! The best part is it’s very portable, so you can easily bring it with you when you travel & have the luxury of playing all your videos on the big screen! Would highly recommend buying!!!

Works as advertised. I mostly use it when I travel. I download movies and shows I want to catch up on to my iPad and use the adapter to connect it to the hotel’s TV through HDMI. Pricey, but it always works.

Extremely useful adapter. Makes it easy to watch media from your phone (netflix,hulu, etc.). You will need a hdmi cable and you still have to plug in a lightning cable to the adapter if you want your phone to charge simultaneously. The price is a little steep, however it was well worth the use You will get out of it.

I bought this so I could stream movies from my iPad mini 2 to my 60" tv and it works perfectly. I wasn't happy about the price but in the end it's been worth every penny. Lets me watch any show on any tv with an hdmi port anywhere I go. I'm very satisfied with my purchase it does exactly what it's supposed to.

I purchased the adapter for one reason, to watch DirecTV Sunday Ticket while on the road. I connected my iPhone6s to a 55" Samsung TV, and it looked great. Sitting 8 feet away, I honestly couldn't tell a difference between the iPhone stream and a regular DTV DVR. Very cool, even if it is a little pricey.

This adapter is easy to use and allows you to stream content from your phone to any HDMI enabled screen. I found it particularly helpful to watch content that is currently not supported on Roku apps (like HBO Max). I’ll probably buy another!

I was somewhat reluctant to spend this much on an adapter, but reviews of lesser priced options always "qualified" under which conditions they would work. My first use was on a trip to west Texas where I could only watch content from my i-Pad and it worked beautifully! Glad I spent the extra money.

This adapter worked perfectly. We ran a slide show of pictures for graduation from an iPhone 12 to a TV. You'll need an HDMI cable (male HDMI at both ends) to plug into the adapter and then into the HDMI port on the TV.

I bought this for my mother because she has issues with working the smart tv and DVD player. Now she has a 10 ft. HDMI cord w/ the Lightning Digital A/V Adapter and it is much easier for her to work Hulu, Netflix, etc. from her phone and it appear on the tv.

Great device. Great deal instead of getting the more expensive alternative.

I use this to hook up my kids phone to the tv in the car. They can watch all their shows on Netflix or Hulu on the big screen. It also works on regular tv. You need an HDMI cable to hook it up to the TV and a charger to hook in other end if you want it to charge too

I use this with my ipad mini 3. It works, and the picture quality is great. We use it to "Cast" videos to the TV at our lake house since we dont have any network or tv connection there. It fits the bill. Albeit, the price is a little high but I price matched to get down to where I felt comfortable buying it.

I am mainly comparing picture quality against the highest model Apple TV with Rocketfish hdmi cables to a 4K uhd tv from 2017/2018. The devices I tested with were an iPhone XS Max and an iPhone 11 Pro Max. As for streaming services used for my personal test. They were Netflix (HD upgrade), Hulu, HBO GO, Prime video, DirecTV Now (AT&T TV) and YouTube. I will have to re-test for certain channels likes Starz, Showtime and so on as I accumulate them. As well as newer services like Disney+, Apple TV and whatever else comes out... I personally only use streaming services I can watch anywhere, not stuck to a box at home. That’s just my own preference. I can say with confidence though that this cable is capable of reproducing high quality videos and equal quality audio for your OTG needs. I noticed no difference In quality when connected to the iPhones I mentioned or to the Apple TV.

The adapter worked perfect . I was able to watch movies that where on my phone on my tv. Easy to hook up. But for the price just get yourself a fire stick for movies. I have since returned this and went to the fire stick. Half the price of this adapter.

Overall the adapter works great. It is easy to use: simply plug it in to your apple device (i used an ipad air), plug a HDMI cable into the adapter, and the other end to tv, etc and you have a great high quality picture (if the video is also high quality). Only issue is that a lot of the streaming apps block the use of video output devices which is why I give it 4 out of 5, so check before spending $50 on an item that may never be used because of this. If you don't already have one, be sure to buy a HDMI cable.

At first, I could only balk at the price. However, this is guaranteed to work with iOS 11 devices, unlike cheaper third-party solutions. I've tested it with my iPad Pro (12.9"/2nd gen) and iPhone 8 Plus and they both work fine. Apps like Prime Video and iTunes purchases play back fine.

This adapter is one of the best for connecting it to a non smart TV without having something like DirecTV, COX, or Spectrum. If you have an iPad with all of you apps like HBO, Netflix, etc. You hook this up to your TV or PC and there you have a bigger viewing platform, good for traveling.
