Great solution for watching streaming TV from iPad on non-smart TV. Has charging port so iPad can charge while using. Works great and no interface issues at all. I have already recommended this to friends and family.

Works great, plug and play, simple to use. I feel the cost was a bit high, not Best Buy fault.

Cable adapter does the job as expected. Allows ipad to connect to TV or AVR with HDMI cable and allows for charging at the same time. Works fine. My only complaint is the cables will disengage if pressure is exerted on them, especially if you're using a stiffer HDMI cable. My solution was to tape them together with duct tape to prevent the cables and connector from separating. Using AirPlay Mirroring with Apple TV might work for some folks in lieu of using this cable.

Plug and play, pretty simple. Bought it for movie watching while on the road Netflix/Amazon Instant/Plex all worked good. One note if planning on using this for business projections (i.e. Hooked up to a projector, test it with the app....some apps get a bit funny with regards to orientation)

Easy to use and connect my iPhone and iPad to my external video sources. Very handy when I want to watch and review different programs. It could be less expensive, that is what you get with Apple products.

This is a great product and very easy to use. I can now watch movies, etc (Netflix, Hulu) from my iPad since my tv is old and not a smart tv. It was very easy to install after the sales associate explained how it worked. Well worth the price and very easy to install.

This has been a great quality product I can mirror any tv from my phone with this attachment. Same way you use your phone to watch movies or videos you can see it on the tv without additional cable boxes or smart tv additions. Worth the money!!

I was stuck between purchasing this item or Apple TV but I just wanted to stream my phone to the tv. So I asked the employee which one would be best for my needs. He recommended I take this cause it's a hardware so you won't get any interference. So I am happy with my perchase

This was very easy to hook up and use. It sends a clear picture and is a great product. For those looking to have a backyard movie night with a projector this makes it very easy to just play things from tour phone/tablet

I bought this for work so that I could show various colleagues the app I’ve been working on. It’s really slick how it so easily connects and displays what is on the phone. The price was a bit steep but I guess that’s the case for most Apple products.

I told my husband there has to be a way for me to connect my phone to the HDMI port in our van. He went in Best Buy in search of such a gadget and found this. It's absolutely amazing. It allows me to have my kids watch movies from phone or ipad that are saved there. Works great!

This adapter lets me watch YouTube and other streaming platforms on my tv without needing Internet! Just plug in a normal lightening cable and an hdmi cord to it, plug it into my phone, and stream videos while my phone charges

Works great, was struggling with a way to connect my iPhone to my smart TV to watch my grandson’s ballgames and this works perfectly. Being able to charge while in use is an extra handy feature.

I do not have wifi around my house so using an Apple TV to AirPlay was not an option for me. This is the second best option. Works just like using AirPlay but your phone is connected to the TV which could be a downside if you are expecting a call or text. Easy install, just need an hdmi cable.

Works great and it allows you to watch anything from your iPhone on any TV that has a HDMI port! Some people on here say it doesn’t for some reason let you watch streaming apps (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, or just any app that streams any video content) but it’s just simply not true! On any TV that has an HDMI port, which it’s insanely rare that you will even own or use a TV that does not have an HDMI port, you will 100% be able to watch anything on TV with this device that you can watch on your iPhone. I even watch DIRECTV through my DIRECTV app on any TV. It’s a must have especially in a place where there is not a internet connection like in rural areas or just any place with no internet. It just all depends on the type of service you get though if there is no internet connection. But, it all boils down to if you can watch it on your iPhone then you can watch it on a tv with this device. It just simply mirrors whatever is showing up on your iPhone screen. So, as soon as you plug it into your iPhone and then plug it into the TV you will immediately see whatever your screen on your iPhone is displaying! I take this with me every time I travel just Incase the hotel, vacation home, lakehouse, or anywhere that might not have internet, good Wi-Fi signal, or just Incase the place I’m at happens to loose internet service for a while or something? Just remember to invest in a lengthy hdmi cord so you can use it while you are in bed or sitting on the couch. If you do not want to buy a lengthy HDMI cord and you have two at your house then you can always buy an hdmi extension adapter to make two smaller hdmi cords just one longer hdmi cord to help reach wherever you are at. Buy, I highly recommend buying both (lengthy hdmi cord and extension adapter) so in case you go on a trip and the cord isn’t quit long enough you can just add another one from the place you are at, that is if they have another one? I bought a 15’, 20’, and even a 25’ hdmi cord and I have to say the 25’ cord is the one use the most because it’s never not long enough and I always can use the device while I’m in bed or wherever very comfortably. Lastly, since it has a charging port on it which is the best part I might add due to the battery consumption that streaming videos takes up on a phone. It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to buy a iPhone chargrging cord (usb to lightning cord) that is much longer than the standard iPhone charging cord. If you want to use the long hdmi cord to use it while in bed or on the couch and you don’t have it charging then it’s pointless to even use the long hdmi cord or even the device itself. You don’t want to be using this and then go out and your phone is almost dead or if you want to use the device to watch something on the tv and your phone is almost dead. My point is you never know where the outlets are going to be in a place you have never been and you are wanting to have it on the nightstand or just close to you so you don’t have to get up and go hit pause, play, or switch to something else to watch. I hope this was thorough enough and helps answer any questions some of you might have. But, I promise this plays any streaming app your tv so please do not listen to anyone saying that it doesn’t because they are for some reason lying or they just have no idea what they are talking about?! This little dongle is fairly expensive to what you are getting, but for me it is very practical. My parents have a small cabin in rural New Mexico and no Internet service. With this, I am able to stream Netflix via my iPhone right into their TV set. Very cool for watching movies!

Works great. We don’t have Wi-Fi in our house so this works perfectly for putting Netflix and others on our tv to watch.

This adapter came in hand while staying in a hotel for watching movies downloaded to my iPad via the tv sets HDMI insted of shelling out money for the hotels paid Tv system for viewing. It worked perfectly and looked great especially since I had downloaded the Hi-Def versions of the movies.
