This adapter lets me watch YouTube and other streaming platforms on my tv without needing Internet! Just plug in a normal lightening cable and an hdmi cord to it, plug it into my phone, and stream videos while my phone charges

This was very easy to hook up and use. It sends a clear picture and is a great product. For those looking to have a backyard movie night with a projector this makes it very easy to just play things from tour phone/tablet

This little dongle is fairly expensive to what you are getting, but for me it is very practical. My parents have a small cabin in rural New Mexico and no Internet service. With this, I am able to stream Netflix via my iPhone right into their TV set. Very cool for watching movies!

Excellent quality—-east to use Allowed my family to use tv without WiFi available

This adapter came in hand while staying in a hotel for watching movies downloaded to my iPad via the tv sets HDMI insted of shelling out money for the hotels paid Tv system for viewing. It worked perfectly and looked great especially since I had downloaded the Hi-Def versions of the movies.

Dear all, this Apple - Lightning Digital A/V Adapter is so great. I am using apple ipad mini. Before I bought it that I didn't know it's screen so small, and I am afraid that my children's eyes will...But after I bought the Apple - Lightning Digital A/V Adapter, it's great.It's easy to set up, the pictures look clearly,and we can watch ipad's programs from big scree. We like it! But if the price can down a little bit,we will buy more Apple's products. Thanks Best buy.

Works great, was struggling with a way to connect my iPhone to my smart TV to watch my grandson’s ballgames and this works perfectly. Being able to charge while in use is an extra handy feature.

We wanted kids to be able to access itunes movies on the TV without buying an apple TV. This hooks up to our HDMI cable and an ipod, ipad, or phone perfectly. It also has a place to hook up charger so the devices don't go dead from all the streaming.

I had No idea on what I was doing but it was so EASY and the BEST part of this item is that you can charge your phone at the same time while you watching movies or steaming music. Had NO idea you could to that! SO GLAD I PURCHASED THIS ADSPTER!

Worked exactly as you would want an easy product to.

Works great and it allows you to watch anything from your iPhone on any TV that has a HDMI port! Some people on here say it doesn’t for some reason let you watch streaming apps (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, or just any app that streams any video content) but it’s just simply not true! On any TV that has an HDMI port, which it’s insanely rare that you will even own or use a TV that does not have an HDMI port, you will 100% be able to watch anything on TV with this device that you can watch on your iPhone. I even watch DIRECTV through my DIRECTV app on any TV. It’s a must have especially in a place where there is not a internet connection like in rural areas or just any place with no internet. It just all depends on the type of service you get though if there is no internet connection. But, it all boils down to if you can watch it on your iPhone then you can watch it on a tv with this device. It just simply mirrors whatever is showing up on your iPhone screen. So, as soon as you plug it into your iPhone and then plug it into the TV you will immediately see whatever your screen on your iPhone is displaying! I take this with me every time I travel just Incase the hotel, vacation home, lakehouse, or anywhere that might not have internet, good Wi-Fi signal, or just Incase the place I’m at happens to loose internet service for a while or something? Just remember to invest in a lengthy hdmi cord so you can use it while you are in bed or sitting on the couch. If you do not want to buy a lengthy HDMI cord and you have two at your house then you can always buy an hdmi extension adapter to make two smaller hdmi cords just one longer hdmi cord to help reach wherever you are at. Buy, I highly recommend buying both (lengthy hdmi cord and extension adapter) so in case you go on a trip and the cord isn’t quit long enough you can just add another one from the place you are at, that is if they have another one? I bought a 15’, 20’, and even a 25’ hdmi cord and I have to say the 25’ cord is the one use the most because it’s never not long enough and I always can use the device while I’m in bed or wherever very comfortably. Lastly, since it has a charging port on it which is the best part I might add due to the battery consumption that streaming videos takes up on a phone. It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to buy a iPhone chargrging cord (usb to lightning cord) that is much longer than the standard iPhone charging cord. If you want to use the long hdmi cord to use it while in bed or on the couch and you don’t have it charging then it’s pointless to even use the long hdmi cord or even the device itself. You don’t want to be using this and then go out and your phone is almost dead or if you want to use the device to watch something on the tv and your phone is almost dead. My point is you never know where the outlets are going to be in a place you have never been and you are wanting to have it on the nightstand or just close to you so you don’t have to get up and go hit pause, play, or switch to something else to watch. I hope this was thorough enough and helps answer any questions some of you might have. But, I promise this plays any streaming app your tv so please do not listen to anyone saying that it doesn’t because they are for some reason lying or they just have no idea what they are talking about?! Needed this for a projection system hooked up to our cell phone. Works great.

This adapter works well with Apple devices with the lightning charger. You will also need an HDMI cord which isn’t included to connect to a TV with an Open HDMI port. Picked up while on vaction so we could watch a movie on a rainy day. It worked fine without issues on the hotel tv that had an extra HDMI slot. It is a little pricey but it is a genuine Apple Product and a you can pick up same day at Best Buy.

I got this Apple adapter so I could connect my iPad and iPhone to my TV. That way I could view photos and videos or anything else on my TV with my friends and family so everybody could see them without having to crowd around the device. It works really good.

Must have accessory for iPad owners who want to be able to stream their iPads onto their tv. Works seamlessly with Netflix, Hulu, etc. We don’t have cable but we have internet on our iPad and this works great

This product and an hdmi cable is all it takes to watch your favorite videos, Netflix, Hulu etc right in your TV. I have tried 2 off brands and they do not show all videos. Spend the extra money and get the Apple Brand adapter. Works flawlessly.

I had to buy this to work on my iPhone 6 since my work computer failed to connect to VPN. So, with a wireless keyboard, and this adapter, I was able to use my iPhone 6 as a "psuedo" computer and was able to be productive on editing Office Files. The product is pricey. It did it's job to meet my expectations. It would add more value if it is used more often.

Easy to use and connect my iPhone and iPad to my external video sources. Very handy when I want to watch and review different programs. It could be less expensive, that is what you get with Apple products.
