I use this for running presentations (with video) from my iPad Pro. It works like a breeze. AppleTV is a good wireless setup, too, but I always like to have this on me just in case. It makes plug and play a breeze, especially if you’re using someone else’s display equipment.

Awesome product from Apple. Plug and play. Works immediately with iphone and ipad. Stream movies, or look at content like pictures on your full sixe tv. Amazing. Anyone can figure it out. Just plug it in and go. Full device controll while in use. Just have to buy an HDMI cable to connect to most modern tv's. it would get a 5 gold star except it can become a little fickle after some use. Still works but sometimes you have to jiggle the cords to get it going.

I was able to connect my iPhone to the built in screens of my Dodge Durango so my kids could watch YouTube on road trips. Was a bit more expensive than I wanted to pay but it is a apple product. I’m able to charge my phone and play videos for them at the same time.

Purchased this adapter so my boys could watch Netflix at my mom's house. She does not have internet, so my boys get bored sometimes. Just connected adapter to TV with HDMI cable and to iPhone. Worked perfect. No need for grandma to purchase internet because she has an iPhone also!

I needed this so I could watch movies playing on my iPad on my Samsung tv. It works great. It does exactly what it's meant to do. The fact that you can charge your device at the same time is perfect. The only thing that bugged me was the price but if you don't have Apple TV it's the way to go.

If you plan to use it for stream Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+, etc…. It will work don’t go and buy the cheap ones they doesn’t work. It’s a little too high on price in my opinion just for a tv adapter.

I have no idea why all the bad reviews are here, I got the adapter today and after trying out a second HDMI cable it worked perfectly. I just had to restart the Netflix app and I saw the picture. The first cable was working too, the quality was just not so good because of the poor quality of the cable itself. Picture and Audio (tested up to 1080p) is working smoothly and perfect. I've also tested the charging feature and it worked too

Perfect for displaying your phone screen onto another screen, in my case, I was using it to stream phone games on OBS (Open Broadcast Software). Makes it super easy, and you can continue charging your phone while you do so.

Allowed out iPad mini 2 to mirror display to our car entertainment system. Worked perfectly and immediately.

I bought this before I had internet at my house. This connected my Ipad to my television and I was able to stream Hulu, Netflix and any other App to my TV. It was a complete lifesaver. Make sure you have a good quality HDMI cable.

I purchased the Apple HDMI adapter to be used with an iPhone 12 Pro and the Viture XR Pro glasses. A Virure HDMI adapter is needed as well, which I had already purchased. I can now watch movies, work and occasionally play a game on my phone and nobody can see what I’m doing becomes the glasses emulate a 135” widescreen TV in space because they are basically a portable monitor when plugged into an iPhone. For productivity, the adapters allow me to have multiple screens using the Viture SpaceWalker application.

Great solution for watching streaming TV from iPad on non-smart TV. Has charging port so iPad can charge while using. Works great and no interface issues at all. I have already recommended this to friends and family.

Works great, was struggling with a way to connect my iPhone to my smart TV to watch my grandson’s ballgames and this works perfectly. Being able to charge while in use is an extra handy feature.

This adapter works great for streaming content from your phone or IPad to your tv. I am very pleased with the connector it works as advertised and it’s nice to be able to charge your device at the same time. I would highly recommend it.

Works great and it allows you to watch anything from your iPhone on any TV that has a HDMI port! Some people on here say it doesn’t for some reason let you watch streaming apps (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, or just any app that streams any video content) but it’s just simply not true! On any TV that has an HDMI port, which it’s insanely rare that you will even own or use a TV that does not have an HDMI port, you will 100% be able to watch anything on TV with this device that you can watch on your iPhone. I even watch DIRECTV through my DIRECTV app on any TV. It’s a must have especially in a place where there is not a internet connection like in rural areas or just any place with no internet. It just all depends on the type of service you get though if there is no internet connection. But, it all boils down to if you can watch it on your iPhone then you can watch it on a tv with this device. It just simply mirrors whatever is showing up on your iPhone screen. So, as soon as you plug it into your iPhone and then plug it into the TV you will immediately see whatever your screen on your iPhone is displaying! I take this with me every time I travel just Incase the hotel, vacation home, lakehouse, or anywhere that might not have internet, good Wi-Fi signal, or just Incase the place I’m at happens to loose internet service for a while or something? Just remember to invest in a lengthy hdmi cord so you can use it while you are in bed or sitting on the couch. If you do not want to buy a lengthy HDMI cord and you have two at your house then you can always buy an hdmi extension adapter to make two smaller hdmi cords just one longer hdmi cord to help reach wherever you are at. Buy, I highly recommend buying both (lengthy hdmi cord and extension adapter) so in case you go on a trip and the cord isn’t quit long enough you can just add another one from the place you are at, that is if they have another one? I bought a 15’, 20’, and even a 25’ hdmi cord and I have to say the 25’ cord is the one use the most because it’s never not long enough and I always can use the device while I’m in bed or wherever very comfortably. Lastly, since it has a charging port on it which is the best part I might add due to the battery consumption that streaming videos takes up on a phone. It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to buy a iPhone chargrging cord (usb to lightning cord) that is much longer than the standard iPhone charging cord. If you want to use the long hdmi cord to use it while in bed or on the couch and you don’t have it charging then it’s pointless to even use the long hdmi cord or even the device itself. You don’t want to be using this and then go out and your phone is almost dead or if you want to use the device to watch something on the tv and your phone is almost dead. My point is you never know where the outlets are going to be in a place you have never been and you are wanting to have it on the nightstand or just close to you so you don’t have to get up and go hit pause, play, or switch to something else to watch. I hope this was thorough enough and helps answer any questions some of you might have. But, I promise this plays any streaming app your tv so please do not listen to anyone saying that it doesn’t because they are for some reason lying or they just have no idea what they are talking about?!
