This connector to HDMI is very expensive compare to other items that does same thing, but this is plug and play and I don't have to worry about whether this will still work when I upgrade my phone or Apple upgrade their IOS.

The Apple-Lighting Digital A/V Adapter is what allowed me to connect my iPhone 11S to my TV to watch HBO movies. Works good. I recommend a long HDMI cable to use with devise also.

This adapter lets me hook up my iPad display to tv and play video games. It was easy to hook up and allows you to charge the iPad at the same time by hooking up a lightning charging cable. It does require you to hard wire the iPad to the adapter and to the tv so a hdmi cable is necessary but they are not too expensive. Brought a whole new version of realism to the racing games

Functionality is spot on, but there's absolutely no reason considering the technology involved it should be priced the way it is, that's my only complaint. Apple charges egregious amounts for peripherals considering that the main items, computers, iPads, etc., also command premium prices, I think that this is for policy for the consumer. My recommendation is only based on the fact that you have no choice.

Pricy, but made hooking my iPhone to my TV easy. Use this & an HDMI cable & watch Netflix without purchasing internet for your location.

My father-in-law bought a generic lightning to HDMI adapter a few years ago which our daughter has used for her LCD projector. It was glitchy sometimes and just stopped working. Genuine Apple products work better. Only drawback is anticipating the cord to split down the road, but right now it’s got the movies back on the wall.

I purchased this as an adapter for my iPhone to connect to my projector. I opened the package and it was super easy to use. Reasonable price and it meets the need. I would definitely recommend.

Such a great Apple accessory to have especially when you travel a good bit...nice to be able to connect your iPad or iPhone to an external device via HDMI. The adapter also allows you to charge your device while projecting!

This product is great because it allows me To connect my iPad and my iPhone To any HDMI projector or TV with Apple TV is not available. I would recommend because it allows you to also charge while you’re projecting

This enables me to watch my videos on my tv.. simple set up, easy to use.. and good quality.... worth the money I spent on it.. my living room tv isn’t smart but this made it one... next purchase from Best Buy a smart tv for bedroom....

I am not an apple person. I have bought knock off adapters for both I phones an Androids only to be very disappointed. They either do not work correctly or break after only a few uses. I bought this and it works as expected.

Very useful adapter for iDevices like iPhones, iPads, iPod touch. Used it with a projector for outside viewing of a game. Also used in hotel rooms when traveling. Just need to carry an HDMI cord and charger with you. Con.

Great for playing watching videos on my TV. Just plug the hdmi cable into the adapter and watch on the big screen. Even let’s you charge it as well while the hdmi is plugged in.

Purchased this so we could stream our Hulu, Netflix and VUDU accounts from our phone on to the TV at our cabin. It has done the job with no problems and I can charge my iPhone while using it, I love this feature.

This item fits right in my jacket pocket. No need to carry a bag/backpack. Hooks up in seconds and does a great job. Now I can play my media right on the Television screen when I need to.

I needed something to be able to attach my iPad to my 65" HD tv and watch the videos and other content on it. The only problem was when I connected the a/v adapter to the tv via an HDMI cable, then the a/v adapter into my new iPad, it wouldn't show the content. It was then I realized you have to hook the adapter up with a charger in the lightening spot to supply the essential power. Once I did the content was transferred to the tv in pure HD quality. Now my family and I can watch our HD home videos without having to crowd around the iPad and hear the yelling of 'I can't see, move!'.

I have used many wired and wireless display adapters and this is by far my favorite because of its simplicity and speed. Simply plug the adapter into and HDMI compatible display and done. No need to mess with any setting, it just works.
